I love books about mysteries and especially books that have an intriguing title. The Boxcar Children were also written by a first grade teacher which makes the series even better to read.

This book was an amazing start to another part of a series of a new series bridging from the past of Percy Jackson and his friends. Now, new characters such as Piper, Leo, and Jason are introduced and show the different elements and qualities of the heroes in the series. This book was especially impressive to me because of the fact that there were so many characters and with very complex pasts that make them who they are, and how they all contribute to the story in some way. This book also illustrates what teamwork, loyalty, heroism, and bravery is like. It also shows the strengths of these characters. At the end of the book, it leaves the reader wanting to know more about these characters and what they will go through again > < :)

I would love these series!!! I absolutely love the Percy Jackson Series, and other books written by Rick Riordan! He is one of my favorite writers of all time :) ^ ^

This book looks really interesting and magical which is something that i love to read in books. the front cover also looks pretty cool, so i may try checking it out during the summer :)

I LOVE THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES AND THE KANE CHRONICLE SERIES!! And just Rick Riordan's books in general; he is such a great writer!!! I know this book will be just as great as well because it will be about mythology and magic which are the two genres of reading that i stick with all the time. I cant wait to read this book (and the rest of the series) when i have the chance!! >w<

Percy Jackson is a normal kid in middle school when his adventure through gods and camp begins. The book leads the reader through multiple stories and characters that have different and unique personalities that make each one interesting and compelling to learn about. Plus, this book teaches about mythology and even twists some of the myths around to relate to modern times which makes the book even more interesting in order to find some of these myths. In this way, the Lightning thief is an AWESOME book for anyone to read! :)
