My brother LOVES these type of books and he recently got into these books and now LOVES this series. Also I recently got into a fight with him and would like to make it up to him.

Holes is a great book that anybody will enjoy. Stanley Yelnats is accused of something he didn't do, then sent to a detention center where he has to "dig holes" to "build strength." But soon Stanley discovers things and lots of twists and turns happen. There is also a second book that I recommend reading.

After her best friend drowns and dies, Suzy is convinced that how she died was actually a sting from a rare jellyfish. Suzy retreats into her own world -silence- and works on proving that fact. Suzy will do anything to prove how her “best friend” died- before they made up from their biggest fight. This book is a little sad, but in all, a very good book that you should read.

This book is a really fun book that will have you think. It is in some way, a mystery, but a REALLY REALLY fun mystery. Mr. Benedict puts an ad for a test in the newspaper, and many many kids show up. But in the end, only Kate, the girl who wears a bucket attached to her belt, Reynie, the boy with the highest score on the test, Sticky, the bald runaway boy and Constance, the very special and out of control girl will win. Soon Mr. Benedict sends them on a very important and thrill quest.

I knew this book was going to be good, but I wasn't prepared for how long I was going to stay up to finish it. It was a very fun story, there were a few twists and turns. It was about a girl named Honorine who was a maid at the Vidalia mansion. Then she suddenly finds herself in the middle of a battle, with her life in danger.

This book is one of my favorite graphic novels. Every time I walk into a library and I am bored, I go to find this book. Raina is coming home from a girl scout meeting one day when she trips and busts a bunch of her teeth. Then she needs headgear and lots of embarrassing things. Then she is growing up.

Serafina lives with her papa in the basement of Biltmore Estate. Sersfina is special in her own ways. For instance, Serafina only has eight toes instead of ten. And she has golden yellow eyes. This book was good, and if you have time, you probably want to read it, but I would not go out of my way to read it.
