This book is about a futuristic town of people who have dug a city underground to escape whatever was on the surface. When their generator that powers their city starts to go awry, the city falls into panic that they will be plunged into darkness. This is a sad book. It is based in WWII, but I have to warn you, it doesn't have a happy ending. Still, it was good, and realistic, because a lot of times, those people's stories didn't have a happy ending. This was a really interesting book about the daily life of a kid who is all the time living in fear of a bomb being dropped, yet still going about the ups and downs of an average teenager. It is a cool perspective into this time period.Almost 5 years agowatercolrwonder added a new comment in

If you're a fan of Percy Jackson, you'll love these books! They have all the same humor of Percy Jackson, but Magnus Chase is a whole new character. These books have lots of diverse players that anyone will like.Almost 5 years ago
