I love this book so much I named a chicken of mine Fablehaven. He is colorful just like the writing in this book. Brandon Mull does such a good job of combining real life and fantasy. Who doesn't want to be a part of a safehaven for magical creatures? Though having a creepy witch in your backyard would not exactly be fun. TROLLS! No thanks. Again, I absolutly love this book!

10 year old Lemonade Liberty With has to move to Willow Creek, California (the Bigfoot capital of the world) to live with her grandfather Charlie after her mother passed away. Lem (lemonade) wants to stay in San Francisco with her friends and school and everything else she cares for. Soon after gets there she meets Tobin (11) - the president of Bigfoot detectives inc., He invited Lem to be his assistant Bigfoot detective and she excepts, they set out on an adventure to finally discover Bigfoot.....they end up discovering something or ....someone..... Zach King is 11 years old and is part of a magical family. Everyone in the family has a magical object - his mom has a magical ring, his dad has a magical watch & his little sister has magical glasses. Zach hasn't found his magical item yet and his parents aren't sure if he ever will so they decide that he shouldn't be homeschooled anymore. Zach doesn't want this at all. Zach learns after the first day being normal isn't terrible, he has a new best friend Aaron -he makes super funny YouTube- there's even a cute fearless girl name Rachel. Suddenly Zach finds his magic object and makes funny videos with Aaron AND get revenge on Tricia (the mean girl) I thought this was a good book, it had a funny plot. Quill is a world where 13 year olds that have creativity (Unwanteds) are sent to there death. The kids who aren't creative are "wanteds" and are special and all that (blah blah) And in between are the neccesaries. Alex and his twin brother Aaron are now thirteen and are about to find out where they place, Awe n gets with the "wanteds" but Alex is doomed to be unwanted because he rd w with a stick in the dirt. Soon Alex and the unwanteds don't see there rate as horrible as they ever could imagine. They discover get to live in Artimé a beautiful, magical, creative place where at least 500 unwanteds live.
