Babymouse's zesty, imaginable fun is truly undeniable! In her latest adventure, Babymouse's birthday is coming up, and she kick-starts the graphic novel with a wonderful daydream about her birthday being celebrated globally. Babymouse shows her dreamy side throughout the book - encountering wild fantasies with her locker, for instance - but perhaps there's a method to her madness. Because when mean girl (or cat?) Felicia Furrypaws' birthday bash is held on the exact same day as Babymouse's, reality may not be the best world to be living in.

When there's a trend, don't count Babymouse out! When texting and surfing the Internet becomes all the rage, Babymouse will do everything in her power to obtain a cell phone of her very own. But when the obsession over funny animal videos, texting slang, and building up an empire of social media followers push her over the edge, can Babymouse really stick with the trends?

In the second book of Sara Mylnowski's nationally-renowned "Whatever After" series, Abby and her little brother Jonah travel into the magical fairytale of Cinderella! Despite their determinedness not to mess up another fairy tale, though, the sister-brother duo finds themselves with a broken glass slipper and Cinderella's swollen foot. Which means the prince won't identify Cinderella. Which means she won't fit into the other glass slipper. Which means they won't live happily ever after. Panicked, they call upon Fairy Godmother, who says that Cinderella must prove that she can stand on her own two feet if they want her to heal Cinderella's foot. After a few false starts, Abby and Jonah find out that Cinderella's kingdom does not have brownies - or, as they later name them, crownies! The race to entrepeneuring Cinderella's Crownies business is on, and though they don't know it, they are about to be met with huge surprises that will forever change Cinderella's story.

Aza Holmes has never been in or sought out the limelight. She lives in an ordinary world in ordinary Indiana in ordinary modern-day America. The only thing hindering her is her thoughts: her germaphobia, her constant mental battles, her desperation. Other than that, she has never been of public interest. But when best friend Daisy urges Aza to visit Davis Pickett, a childhood friend, after a scandal about his billionaire fugitive father Russell Pickett, Aza's life is about to be changed forever. After years in the shadows, her life is suddenly thrust into insanity between juggling a reinforced friendship and maybe more with Davis, accused negligence from Daisy, trying to find her morales, anti-socialness caving in on her, and her ever-spiraling fears. A heartbreaking story about change, fear, and love, "Turtles All the Way Down" by the brilliant John Green cannot be prevented from being in the limelight of fans for generations.

Jealousy is not a foreign feeling to Katie Brown. Her former best friend Callie deserted her, her crush George is sought out by other girls, and her current best friend Mia is undoubtedly popular with every other girl in the grade. But she feels like the feeling will never escape her, especially when she brings her maybe-someday-stepsister Emily to a Cupcake Club meeting. Suddenly, all her fellow Cupcakers are fawning over Emily's talents, neatness, everything, and envy tears Katie apart. She knows she should be happy for Emily, but can't she have just one thing she alone is good at, even if it's just baking and making recipes? It doesn't help that Mrs. Brown seems to constantly compare Katie's disorganization to Emily's put-togetherness. Sibling rivalry is never sweet, but Coco Simon's writing definitely is, and this is a magnificent book for people of all ages and backgrounds.

This is my favorite book in the Cupcake Diaries series ever written by Coco Simon! In this bittersweet novel, Katie Brown's father reaches out to her after years of distance and offers an internship at his famous restaurant, Chez Donald. While Katie knows it's a great opportunity, she can't help feeling that awkwardness may ruin this job. It is a once-in-a-lifetime offer, though, so she accepts and tries it out. She begins to start warming up to the job when suddenly, she cuts her finger and needs stitches in the Chez Donald kitchen! Much to her chagrin, it's her mom's boyfriend Jeff who brings her to the hospital, not her actual dad, who mutters an excuse about "lunch hour" and "busy." Katie is extremely grateful to Jeff but feels infinitely hurt that her dad prioritized his business over her, his own daughter. So, it really comes as no surprise that Katie feels overwhelmed and insecure when she meets her dad's three new "perfect blonde" daughters. On top of it all, Jeff has decided to propose to her mom! Can Katie deal with all the changes in her life, or will these sudden disruptions push her over the edge?

In this electrifying sequel to Raina Teglemier's narrative nonfiction graphic novels "Smile" and "Sister," Raina's back with the stomach flu. She quickly gets over it, but even though her bout of sickness has passed, Raina constantly experiences the terrifying feeling of needing to throw up, causing her to stay from home and have to use the bathroom more than usual. As her fear of puke grows, so does her insecurity about her body. Raina doesn't want to be made fun of by class bully Michelle. She doesn't want to be excluded from the girl talks in the bathroom. She doesn't want to have to meet up with a private counselor about her feelings. But she does and is, and as puberty, rudeness, secrets, and friend drama show their abhorrence, Raina realizes that the key to trumping fear is to feel comfortable in your own skin.

Six feet apart. That is Barb the caretaker's rule, the hospital's rule, the world's rule when it comes to a patient with cystic fibrosis and another with B. cepacia. The same applies to Stella Grant and Will Newman. Conformed by medical procedures, family strain, and self-control, Stella must put a smile on her face for the world's reassurance. Will is a different matter. Despite his mother's efforts and family's wealth, he has given up on everything that could add to his lifespan. After contracting B. cepacia, he no longer has the one thing every patient needs to keep them going: hope. So when rule-abiding Stella and individualistic Will first meet, sparks fly, and not in the best way. But gradually, resentment spirals into flirtation, and what seemed like harmless serenading suddenly turns into love. The odds will never be in their favor. Even as they date, they aren't allowed to leave the hospital or be nearer than six feet apart. Add Barb's meddling, Poe's disapproval, and both of their conditions deteriorating, and the relationship seems destined to fail. But when Stella closes that gap to five feet apart, and Will closes it to zero, nobody can deny that Stella and Will are written in the stars.
