If you are a person that likes fiction, I strongly recommend the book "Mechanica" by Betsy Cornwell. At first, I doubted if I wanted to read it or not, but when I started reading the first chapter I identified with the character in some ways and started liking it. I liked the fact it has some events that could happen in real life. The story written by Cornwell shows the reader how the main character gets to accomplish her goals and make her dream come true, although she is alone in life. Even though Nick suffered traumas like her parents' deaths and not having the boy of his life, she was successfull in something that also passionate her: technology. This book taught me something that has really marked my life since then: not all endings are always as we want them, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't like them.

I strongly suggest you vote for When, this book and this author instilled the love of reading back in my 13 year old daughter. Any parent who struggles to get their teenagers to do anything knows exactly what I am talking about. This author shows real life connections to young readers through her books, and that is exactly what they need to make the connection to the importance of reading. I loved reading the book as well because it allowed me to bond with my daughter even more through a discussion on a book, not social media, boys, or things that don't matter. Thank you Victoria, you are a true rock-star!!!

I strongly recommend the book Powerless by Tera Lynn Childs and Tracy Deebs. Kenna, the main character will embark on a trip with her fiercest enemies and will learn the true meaning of what a hero is and what it means to be powerful or powerless. This book showed me that not everything is what it looks like and that it doesn't matter how powerful or strong you are, you can always go over tough situations by being yourself and doing what you think is right.

The book "Suicide notes from beautiful girls" was a really intense and captivating read. It kept me guessing until the very last page. The author gives you two different perspectives from the two main characters in the novel, so you literally feel and understand both perspectives. I highly recommend it to all the readers who love mystery. It is one of the best books I have ever read.

I read the book "You and Me and Him" by Kris Dinnison. I really enjoyed this book because its about something that happens daily. I think friends are forever and we should never fight for mindless stuff. It connects to people my age (16) because the usually get into fights like this ones. I strongly recommend it because what happens in the book is something you will face at some point in your life. This book taught me that we should love ourselves no matter what others think about us.

When I first picked this book, I was very skeptic whether to read it or not, because of the creepy title. Once I read it, it was even creepier than expected, but enjoyable as well. Delia is a very peculiar character, who is reckless and fearless, which is somewhat admirable.

I strongly recommend the book "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven. This book changed the way I think about life. By getting two different points of views on the story, we get to really understand what the characters are going through. I highly recommend this book if you want to read something different that you've never read before.
