Seekers #2: Great Bear Lake
By Erin Hunter
This book is awesome! I like Lusa so much, because she’s really energetic and bouncy! And Kallik’s nice too! Toklo’s sort of grouchy and skeptical about everything, but I think he’s still a thoughtful character, and warms up to Lusa and Kallik in the later books. Erin Hunter’s a great author, and I love Seekers! Great Bear Lake was very engaging, and I recommend this for any reader who wants something good to read.
My Side of the Mountain
By Jean George
This book is about a boy named Sam Gribley he ran away from his parents to a forest where his great grandfather had a farm. Sam thought that his great grandfather was still alive and that is part of the reason why he ran away. The other reason is that he did not like it in the city because it was too noisy. He hollowed out a tree and and started to live there, he got a little lonely so he stole a hawk from it's mother and started to live with it. I recommend this book for ages 9-15 because it is a little too violent for people who are younger.
A Wolf Called Wander
By Rosanne Parry
“My pack is everything. They are my family.” Swift is a young wolf pup who has never seen the world beyond his pack’s borders. He is safe from all the dangers that lurk right outside their territory—other animals, wolf packs who are more powerful—and most importantly, men, the strange two-legged creatures who are never to be trusted. Ever since he was born, Swift has been warned about the evilness of men, and the terrible things they can do. But until now, he has never needed that knowledge. When a larger group of wolves invades Swift’s pack, he gets separated from them in a whirlwind of teeth and claws. Living without a pack, without other wolves to take care of him, is simply not living. It is just trying to survive in a cold, harsh world that will soon be taken over by men...so why live? But there is something inside Swift, a tiny ember of hope, that thinks there are more wolves around—and maybe they’re from his former pack. Then, he finds his younger brother Warm, and travels with him—until Warm is killed by men, with strange objects that shoot lightning. Swift is deeply saddened...and angry. He wants to get revenge for his brother’s death; but how can he fight men? It turns out he doesn’t have to—because soon, he will meet another wolf who can change his life. Can Swift survive? Only time will tell.
Molly's Story: A Dog's Purpose Novel
By W. Bruce Cameron
Title: Molly's Story Author: W. Bruce Camron Genre: Realistic Fiction Overall this book deserves a 5/10 because it has some sad parts, there are cliff hangers and, many funny parts. This book also has many interesting chapters that will want to make you read more for example when Gloria brings Molly to the shelter while CJ is at school. I would say this book should be for 4th grade and up if a 3rd grader tried to read it they might get confused about some parts.

the title a bit misleading it's not that scary but is extremely sad and made me dislike Beatrix Potter kinda. the books about two young fox kits, Mias who's siblings die of rabies and Uly whose father tries killing him on multiple occasions. Uly has a limp from a congenital anomaly or a birth defect on him from paw. as Uly and Mia get older they get a den together and start telling their story to young fox kits that dare visiting their den

Wings of Fire Book Four: The Dark Secret
By Tui T. Sutherland
If you like dragons or fantasy I do recommend this book. Wings of Fire: The Dark Secret is a must-read but I suggest reading the series in order if you haven’t already. I believe the author used this book to give more information about the Nightwings and Rainwings who both were not very involved in the war. This one had me hooked because of how much suspense there is leading to the climax. It felt like a movie, especially at the end. As Starflight was in the NightWing fortress, I was surprised he was able to survive with countless problems especially as Morrowseer was there. One of the most enthralling parts in the book was when Starflight discovered a helpful instrument while he was exploring the fortress with Fatespeaker. The discovery had been very useful while he was on the island. I wondered whether he would share his discovery or keep it hidden but ultimately he did what was best for the RainWings and the other dragonets. Near the ending of the book I was in complete shock when I heard the truth about the dragonet prophecy! It was like a snake had jumped out of the grass! Morrowseer explained the intentions behind dragonet prophecy and which tribe it would benefit. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
Because of the Rabbit
By Cynthia Lord
Dylan Leibl-Cot
This book is called Because Of The Rabbit. The author of the book is Cynthia Lord, and the year it was written was in April 2019. This book was very well written ,and funny and also very serious.I think it was good because they had an adventure and saved a bunny. The hardest part in the book was saving the bunny, from the fence Alexa is a girl who is in an public school. At the end of the book she wanted to give a letter to the queen asking not to close the gates right away. She was in her other castle. When the girl gets to the castle the police catch her and call the mom and the step mom.The girls give the note to the queen asking not to close the gates so Amat’s mom and dad could get through the gates. The mom and dad get to him safely.Ahmet had a vcat and a sister but died in a war.Ahmet and his family ran away from the war. My most entertained part is when they save the bunny, from the fence.I also like how they got the bunny out of the really tight fence. It amazed me because it sounded hard to get the bunny out.The whole book also told me what the bunny looked like.My favorite place is actually the school because it shows more people to the book. Because of the Rabbit was very funny, embarrassing.I think the book should be a little longer. But it makes me curious in a way.A good recommendation is my mom , and my dad should read it almost every day.But what I do not recommend is to read it to the higher grades because they would probably be in another world/thinking about other stuff. Because of the Rabbit.Because of the Rabbit made me feel introduced to the book.I had been introduced by the book showing me the characters like and what they do for a living.I also thought the book introduced Lapi with a problem, when the Rabbit was stuck in the fence. The book also made me feel attractive. The book made me feel attractive by showing me more characters and more places.
