This was definitely a really good read, and I would recommend it to anyone at all, any age. I received this book as a prize from last year's summer reading program. This is a book filled with poems to tell a story. A story of a young black girl who was born in Columbus, Ohio during the Civil Rights movement. According to the story, 'A country caught/Between Black and White.' This book is, essentially, an autobiography of a young girl growing up during the Civil Rights Movement, and how she finds her place, 'that's caught between Black and White.' Every poem is a reminder of the differences that America had in the past, and how it has changed drastically. Read this touching book to find out what happens!

I would love to win this book, because I love both mysteries, and building different gadgets that are not that difficult to self-build. Plus, I am interested in being an engineer, or something in the science field, when I grow up. I love the Nick and Tesla series, and I think that this would be a wonderful addition for me to read!

I personally love all National Geographic books. They are always filled with fun and interesting facts, and this book is no exception! In this story, there are a lot of fun games and activities, along with lots of information about your brain and senses. There are a lot of facts about what your brain can do, and how it does those things. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody, (even adults!), and I would love to read it over and over again!

This was a good read for me. Ivy is a new girl in Bean's neighborhood. However, as soon as Bean and Ivy met, they knew they couldn't be friends with each other, and even before that. Every action that Bean did seemed to counteract Ivy's actions. Ivy was the kind of girl that's 'prim and proper', and Bean loves to stomp in puddles, smash rocks to find gold, etc. Bean decides that she wants to play a joke on her sister, Nancy. What will happen to Nancy? And how will it affect Bean and Ivy's relationship? Read this wonderful book full of humor and delightful moments!

I would really love to win this book, because I love to read non-fiction, especially cool fun facts about random information. I also love National Geographic, so this would be a wonderful book to add to my library!

This was a pretty good read for me. I like reading this series because it is realistic fiction. George Calder and Phoebe Calder (his sister), are traveling with their Aunt Daisy, on the famous ship, the Titanic. George loves the ship, because there are several different places to be, and lots of places to explore. Something goes wrong when he decides to slip into a cabin, and all of a sudden, things go wrong. Like REALLY wrong. Water starts to make its way into the cabin, and George has to find a way out before it's too late. But will George make it out alive? That's up to you to find out, by reading I Survived: The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912!

You have to read books. After you review 3 books from the reading list, and they are approved (your reviews), you can get a free book (paperback!) mailed to you. That is, of course, after your parents have sent in a consent form.

I really enjoyed reading this book. A girl, Avery, and her brother, Henry, are just taking a stroll outside to celebrate Avery's 13th birthday. However, both of them are soon taken to a mysterious place, by an old woman. When Avery gets to the place the old lady took them to, Henry is separated from her, and Avery is placed upstairs with other 13-year old boys and girls. Avery makes a new friend, Kate, and Kate introduces Avery to the mysterious place, which Avery soon finds out to be a castle. She also learns that her, and the other 13-year olds, are being held prisoners in the King's castle. Will Avery be able to return home safely, with Henry? Or will it be too late to save them both? Read this cliff-hanging novel to find out!
