The book Brian's Hunt by Gary Paulsen is a wonderful read if you enjoy nature, exploring, and hunting. It is about this man named Brian and he was in a plane crash so he had to hunt for food so he would not starve to death. And he had to hunt really big animals so he would have a lot of food to use and not have to go hunting all the time. Another thing if you go hunting a lot some places in this book kinda tell you some hunting tips. Also if you like to build some stuff you would probably like it. Another thing is if you like to use a bow you should definitely read this book. Another main idea is he built a bow made out of wood. So if you like some of those things I would recommend this book for you to read.

The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise is maybe the best book I've ever read, and I am a VERY picky reader! Dan Geimenhart, the author, has writing that is so compelling! Every chapter leaves you crying out for more, and every plot twist (and believe me, there are a lot) has you slack-jawed. The author begins our story telling us about a girl and her father, the only remnants, however shattered, of a once whole family. After the mother and other two sisters died in a car crash, the father and daughter fled their home and started a new life on a renovated school bus. They have been living there for five years, and they are happy- or at least satisfied- with this lifestyle until the girl, Coyote, hears that a forest that holds a memory box of hers is being destroyed. She has to get to the forest and find the box before it is dug up and destroyed! Her father will absolutely, no way no how, take her there, though, so how will she get there? The answer is found with Salvador, Esperanza, Concepcion, Lester, Tammy, Ivan, and Gladys. I liked how there are many funny parts in the book and many heart-throbbing parts. I did not like how to book wasn't long enough- there was not a 'ten years later' section where we get to see all the characters again, doing well. Thank you Dan Geimenhart for writing this!

Fablehaven: Rise of the Evening Star has just become the best book I have ever read! It starts off from the first book, when Kendra and Seth find themselves back at Fablehaven after some trouble in their world. At Fablehaven, three new people have been employed. However, a betrayal strikes and Fablehaven is in chaos again. My notes- if you liked the first book, this is one hundred times better! It is filled with suspense, action, mystery (lots and lots), and awesomely surprising surprises! In the second volume of an amazing series, nothing is as it seems! I couldn't put it down- I've read a lot of books but this has seriously awed me. My suggestion when reading this? No matter what, don't skip around, because you might see something that would ruin it for you.

This book surprised me from the very beginning! It was an excellent read, and - BONUS - it's a summer reading book! Fourteen-year-old Kendra feels abandoned when her parents leave her and eleven-year-old Seth at Grandpa and Grandma Sorenson's (who they BARELY KNOW) house while Mom and Dad go on a cruise. Mom and Dad say they won't enjoy it, but let's be honest kids, we all see through that lie. In the first couple of days there, several strange things happen. First of all, there are signs leading up to the entrance gate, the last one being the most disturbing: Certain Death Awaits. They aren't allowed to go into the woods or the barn. Dale, one his Grandpa Sorenson's few workers, leaves fresh milk in a bucket for butterflies. It turns out the playroom is only half of the attic! And what will they key-treasure-hunt lead to? When Seth gets bored and goes into the forest anyway, he discovers a witch living in a hut in the middle of nowhere. (Of course Kendra doesn't believe him-right?) When he goes back again he finds a giant hidden beautiful pond, with swans and the works! What was his Grandfather hiding? Kendra finally finds all the keys to open the mysterious journal...but it's blank? WHAT'S GOING ON? The only words are - DRINK THE MILK. Needing a guinea pig, Kendra retrieves Seth and tells him that the milk tastes amazing. Unless Seth's acting skills got a whole lot better without her knowing, this farm isn't what Grandpa says it is. Welcome to FABLEHAVEN! I love band is an amazing book where a girls friend goes to summer camp and finds a friend, but when she comes back to school again, she was expecting both of her friends to be friendly with each other, but that is not how they want it to be. It in the end all resolves peacefully and has a lot of emotions. It is an adventurous book that has a lot of emotions and takes you with it through the story like you are actually there.

This book was not bad. J.K it was amazing, my favorite character as a human was Andie. My favorite dog would have to be ............. Well I have to pick two Red Rover and Bebe. I really hope you guys read his. It is amazing. I hope you love it.

This is my book reweiw of Alice and wonderland Lewis Carroll. Alice and wonderlands setting is in the 1800s in England, and alice falls Into hole by the rabbit who lured her into wonderland and she dreamed about wonderland and all the characters. And she has get out of wonderland. And hatter kinda gives Alice riddles for her to solve as she goes on her journey. And Cheshire cat is the only cat that listen to Alice and the cat was the queens. And the queen wants Alice to be executed because Alice made a insult about her. But Alice manages to escape out of the queens castle. The protagonist is Alice and the antagonist is the queen. Alice got out of wonderland. What I liked about the book was the adventure and the story line.

When Humphrey, a hamster, is picked to be one of the school's class's pet, HUmphrey meets new kids and has many adventures. Humphrey also helps the kids with their problems! From being too loud or trying to be too helpful, Humphrey can solve them all! I would recommend this fro ages 8+ Super cute book and so enjoyable!! Great for relaxation if you're too old and detailed well. I love the author's writing style! Hope you read this because this is a must read for 3rd grade!

Iron Hearted Violet is an extremely creative and well-written fantasy about a princess who isn't beautiful (in fact, rather ugly), isn't dainty, and most assuredly isn't weak. Her kingdom loves her, especially her mother, father, her best friend Demetrius and the castle's storyteller, Cassian. Her name is Violet. Violet and Demetrius constantly wander the castle, exploring its secrets. Anything they find is relatively normal (well, as normal as things can be in a magical castle) until they stumble upon the secret of an evil god, known as the Nybbas. From then on, a series of events take place that send the kingdom towards its doom -- into the waiting hands of the Nybbas. With the help of a dragon, a runty god, three "miniature people" and the somewhat unwilling storyteller Cassian, Violet and Demetrius must stop the Nybbas and save their world from utter destruction. I loved this book so much! It is possibly the most unpredictable book I have ever read, and it literally defies every fairytale cliche. After reading the whole thing, I was thoroughly convinced that it is in my top five favorite books. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good adventure, and an unusual one at that. Get ready to expect the unexpected!
