I loved this book! It was about an girl called Naomi and her brother Owen, who was born crippled. They were raised by their grandmother, since Naomi's mom took them away, but then ditched them and gave them to their grandmother. One day, their mother comes and interrupts their peaceful life (well, sort of) and tries to get Naomi back, but not Owen. At first, Their real mom, Skye is very nice. She bribes them with gifts, and she pretends to be nice. But still, she was never a good mom, and started to lose her temper and not care about them. Naomi learns that her mom never did care about them from her heart, but was just using gifts to make them like her. Naomi also finds out, while waiting at school for her mom that she was at an rehab center multiple times, and started drinking AGAIN. When Skye goes to court, saying she wants to keep Naomi, Naomi's closest family and friends go with her to Mexico to seek help from her dad. This was an one of a kind book that you MUST read! This is a very good book about a little girle named Minli MInli and her famile are very pore or in how they say it in the book they do not have good forchen all the familey has is two gould couns that MInli got when sh ewas a baby her and her famile disired them but one day " a man with a willbarow walk into her villeg" the man had gold fish so Minli got one her mom and dad where so made adout it so that night Minli whent to the sterm to let the fish go when the fish did something that made MInli go to find the old man of the moon "he can change my familes fortchen" not long after that she finds a DRAGEN o if you like ficchen or make bealve with a very exsiting theme than this is the dest book even if you do not gust give it a tire and i garenty i think that it is a fife graders levle

Ada, Jamie, Susan, Lord and Lady Thorton with their son and daughter, Maggie and Jonathan...And an German girl, Ruth, has came to live with other people...Billy White, Ada`s friend, Stephen White`s younger brother, has tragically passed away at such an young age...and Jonathan has also tragically passed away, he was in Air Force, his caused of death was burned so badly that he...*shudders* died... At first, Ruth doesn`t trust any people in the house but in the middle and end of the book, Ruth has starting to trust other people but with Lady Thorton...not yet really...This book sequel, "The War That Saved My Life" has really good but the sequel, SUPER GOOD! It`s so rare when book sequel are super good than the first one! Anyway, I`ll not be spoiling this very good book for you guys!! But I would def recommend this book! ^_^

Once is a heartbreaking, beautiful story about a young, innocent Jewish boy named Felix. Before WWII began, his parents hid him in a catholic orphanage where the nuns kept his secret. After four years at the orphanage, Felix is sure that he's received a message. He believes that his parents want him to come and find them. So he sneaks out of the orphanage and finds his old house above his parent's bookstore. But his parents are no longer there. As he walks around trying to find his parents, he learns more about the war, who the Nazis are, and meets a little girl named Zelda whose parents were killed. This is an innocent, childlike account of WWII. I would recommend this book to 6th grade and older, seeing as it is about one of the most terrible wars in history. It is sad, scary, and sweet, and you will definitely cry your eyes out!

The book The Boy At The Back Of The Class is a book about a Refugee Kid who is named Ahmet. He is new to everything because he is from a place called Syrian and does not speak English. While a group of other kids try to make friends with him he can't really understand them . I think the theme of this book is never give up, I think that because in the book the group of people who want to be friends with him kept on giving him gifts even though he never spoke to them. This book made me realize that other people who maybe have never told you that they are a Reffugee Kid, but maybe they are so you should always treat someone the way that you would want to be treated, because you never no what they have been through in their life. I also noticed that something that keeps appearing is the yellow lemon candy. I like this book because it is very interesting and is about a boy who is different. So if you like books about people who go through a life struggle then this is the book for you. I am only half wat through the book.

I have just started the book, and it is really good so far, I'm only 11 but, I'm fine. The words are really meaningful, some of the words, aren't some words I would pronounce, but they make the story funny, I just now realized that there is a scene that is not very appropriate for kids, and what page is that on because I really want have a heads up on that scene. I really seggest this book, doubt the one scene, it is very heart warming, kind, and loving, if you animal lovers are searching for a book, I recommend this book.

This is an amazing book. It is now one of my favorite books that I've ever read. Definitely recommend for science fiction lovers. :)

Besteel, a creature that destroyed Eva Nine's sanctuary, shows up at certain times to hurt Eva and her friends. Eva Nine is forced to leave Muthur and she saved two creatures, Otto and Rovendor Kitt. She faces obstacles and many journeys trying to find a human like her. Eva has never seen a human, only in shows and movies. She finds a cardboard paper that reads "Wond" and "La". I made a connection to this book, because Eva Nine is eager to find a human species like her. This reminds me of trying to find someone like me to fit in with and be friends with. I rated this book a five star, because I loved following Eva Nine on her journey to find someone like her. I also loved to see Eva make friends along the way. I would recommend this book to my sister, because I feel she would be the only person that I know to give the book a shot at reading.

Carolina doesn't want to spend her summer at a sheep farm. Why? because in that farm, her family is moving her grandfather (Whom shes never met) into a home for people with dementia. While shes there, she loses her baby brother and almost lost him to a rattlesnake, learns that there on the ranch there has been a drought for 100 years, learns what happened to her grandmother, and more. If I could rate this book 10 stars. I would, its very moving. (Get it?)

Okay okay. I know that this is obviously something that doesn't belong in my book list. But I just read it to my little sister and wanted to review it. I would definitely recommend this book for 7-8 year olds (younger if you read it to them) I think it's a cute book that has a rhyme on every page. My sister definitely enjoyed it.
