I loved reading this!
Rachel Renee Russell has done it again, she has written a fabulous chapter book for tweens who love to laugh. In this diary, Nikki Maxwell starts to help Brandon at a local animal shelter (to care for puppies...and maybe to hang out with her crush a little bit more, too). Then Brandon informs her that the shelter is in danger of closing, and Nikki can not let that happen. She is even more determined when she discovers something shocking about Brandon. So Nikki and best friend's Chloe and Zooey enter an ice-skating competition only to find that Mackenzie Hollister is sticking her nose in their business and cause trouble(no surprise there) so she will be the one to glide in and save the day. Luckily, Nikki is fixed on making things right.
