There’s definitely something strange about the Beaumont family. Mibs can’t wait until her 13th birthday, and why? Because she’ll find her savvy! Until, the day before her birthday, her father is in a bad accident on the highway…and her world turns topsy-turvy because she can’t go see her dad. So she decides to hitchhike to the hospital on a bus, because she’s sure she can save her dad with her savvy. But it turns out, that she doesn't have the savvy she wants. At the end, it all works out, and they have a happily ever after story.

It was a good book that a nine year old girl would enjoy, but it mite take a little longer than a person would expect.

I read savvy, and I really liked it. I like how at the beginning of the book, It tells you about everyone's savvy, and then it leads to Mibs' birthday party. When a bus load of unwanted pink bibles arrive for the church, Mibs, and a few of her friends hop in, and hide there until the bus starts to drive away. Mibs' father is in the hospital, and she is determined to help him. Mibs and her friends are soon spotted by the bus driver. He agrees to drive them to the hospital, but has to make a stop first. After the first stop, Mibs suddenly can read minds! Then they head to a restaurant, but find out that they have been reported missing. When they finally get to the hospital, Mibs just manages to help her dad, and he gets better. Afterward when they get back home, Mibs finds out that her true savvy is that she can read minds, as long as there is any kind of ink on the person.

Love this book read it!!!

This book is so awesome, I read it a while back, but it's so cool. So, it's about this girl, and every person in her family (except her mom) has this power called a Savvy, they get it when they turn thirteen, and she gets hers in this book....

Usually I don't like fantasy books but, Savvy by Ingrid Law, is a fantastic book. Savvy transports you to a magical world; one where a special family is born with a magical power- a Savvy, Mibs Beaumont and her four brothers and sisters are in the long line of people. Mibs can't stop dreaming about her 13 birthday in a few weeks when she will get her own Savvy. But things go terribly wrong and Mibs's normal father gets injured. Now all Mibs wants is to save her father and with the local pastors kids she and her family get onto a bumpy ride. Full of twist and turns, Savvy is a delightful story with cliff hangers at every chapter. The next book, Scumble, is also very good and I recommend both of these books!

This is a REALLY good book about a family who all have savvies, or powers, its about a girl trying to find out what her savvy is. This was a really greta book, and I totally recommend it!

It's about a girl named Mibs, who's family get Savvys on their 13th birthdays. Mibs gets the savvy of reading ink. She travels to save her dad.

This book was amazing I love the fact that all the savvy's are different I really like the savvy that allows you to know what people are thinking if there is ink on your hand.
