Have you read the original Nancy Drew series? I loved those! Or if you’re in middle school or high school I’d recommend The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Doyle, or One Of Us Is Lying (I don’t remember the author). Not my favorite books, which I’ll post later if you like, but all excellent mystery novels!

I recommend The Hunger Games, the Ickabog, and The Land of Stories, and Keeper of the Lost Cities. a really bone-chilling story is called Spirit Hunters

My favorite series is Warriors by Erin Hunter, but if you like mystery, maybe you should read the Spy School series by Stuart Gibbs, or the Strangers by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

Guys, this is just a theory but what if there are not enough books for the summer reading. The number of books each year has been decreasing.

Hi! That's a good theory, but I think the reason they are decreasing is there is a different style of summer reading in 2019 and 2020 vs. previous years.

Huh, that is interesting! It would make sense. I do hope they start it this year. It;s the latest it's ever been.
