In this book their were a lot of fun things and I am going to say those things. First thing is the protagonist and the antagonist, the protagonists were Emily her brother and her mother. And the antagonists are Max the elves and the mountain giant. In this book my favorite part was the epic battle, every single book in this series was just building up the awesomeness until this battle then it unleashed all that awesomeness all at once. When the battle started I was into the book so much that I felt like I was their battling with them. I recommend this book to 3rd graders, 4th graders, and 5th graders.

I love this book

This book is very full of suspense. It gives you a cliffhanger so you would be like, " I want to read the next book of the series right now!". I recommend it to 4th graders.

Its not bad but I get the ending did max make that monster or did Emily I am still trying to find out.
