Suzy is quiet. She didn't used to be quiet, in fact, she wouldn't stop talking. Now it just seems easier to her to not talk. Her parents are worried about her. They bring her to "the kind of doctor she can talk to". But she doesn't talk. She hasn't talked since her former-best-friend died. People say she drowned, but Suzy knows she didn't. Because Suzy thinks she has been stung by a jellyfish. Not just any jellyfish. She knows it was the Irukandji. It is nearly impossible to see in the water. It is also extremely deadly. Suzy searches for experts on jellyfish. She finally finds the one. A man named Jamie who she knows can help her. Help her prove that Franny's death wasn't by drowning. Prove that "some things just happen" isn't a real answer. But can she do it?

I received the entire Fablehaven series for Christmas from my mom. I admit I was a little skeptical at first, but I started to read and found I couldn't put it down if I tried! Seth and Kendra Sorensen go to stay with their grandparents while their parents are on a cruise. However when they get there they are warned not to go into the woods because of 'ticks'. The birds and insects act strange and are seen drinking from a bowl of milk left outside by Dale. Stranger still, Kendra is given a key by her grandpa. She finds a journal with a lock, and finds inside, the words, 'Drink the milk'. So cautious Kendra gets her careless younger brother to test the milk for her. What they find is another world filled with fairies and nymphs, satyrs and even a witch. The kids are told to stay indoors on a festival night, where all the magical creatures allowed to run free. But can the children keep to the rules and do what they're told? I LOVED this book! It may be even better than Harry Potter! I recommend it to absolutely everyone! Read it!

Gym-napping-classes-napercise-david-lloyd-5903043562e3b__700-mediumThis is something that I believe that it should come to America, because most of us gotta admit(EVEN ME), we don't get enough sleep at all(Me, by like 2 1/2 hours-3 hours sometimes even 4 hours missed ughh). So, I also saw in this book yearsss ago, that sleeping does burn calories, but not really much(maybe 100 per 45 minutes, if you are 75 pounds, or what i found with a bit of research "During sleep, a person's weight and the number of hours he/she sleeps determine how many calories are burned. Normally, a person burns about 0.42 calories for every pound in one hour of sleep. For instance, a 150 lb. person burns about 63 calories in one hour."). From that, I really know that sleep can hurt my life and school since I got B's not doing homework and staying up late and blasting some music. Also, really I've seen sleepy people, and really when I see that you can burn calories, it's suitable for a gym saying easily. In conclusion, if there is something that can burn calories, it technically gym suitable.

Nikki Maxwell is back, and now she's on the ice! Nikki wants to figure skate in the charity competition to win money for Fuzzy Friends. The only problem? Nikki can't walk on the ice without falling on her butt, much less dance on it. Can Nikki even make it past MacKenzie's sabotage onto the ice, or will she be doomed to spend eternity in this dirty old storage locker? You read the book to find out!

I felt like I could place me and my sisters in the places of the different characters. My favorite character was Skye because she is really funny and a lot like me. She does have a bad temper but knows how to have fun. My favorite part of the book was the ending. It made me want to read the second book in the series right away. This was a hard book to put down.
