The second book in the Savvy series, Ingrid mixes old and beloved characters up with fresh, new ones. Ledger Kale, our Savvy star in Scumble, dreams that he'll be fast. Not just run-around-the-block-in-five-minutes fast, but run-around-the-WORLD-in-five-seconds fast. Or at least, that's what his dad wants. But instead of the supersonic speed Savvy Ledge has been fantasizing he'll get on his thirteenth birthday, he can wreck ANYTHING man-made. He's a human sledgehammer. To make matters worse, his family decides to attend a family wedding in Wyoming. He ends up staying in Wyoming in hopes that he'll learn to Scumble his Savvy before the summer ends. With Grandma Dollop's special peanut butter jar stolen, a nosy reporter named Sarah Jane snooping around and coming dangerously close to discovering well-kept family secrets, a busted up motorcycle, and screws flying, what could go wrong? I really loved Scumble; it was a page-turner. With no shortage of messes and magic, it really packs a punch of charm and kept me glued to the pages, unable to look away, as if Sarah Jane had written it herself. I recommend this to all fans of the first Savvy book, this one is even better than the first!

I first saw the cover on a random page, and decided to learn more about it. When I read that it was about an assassin, I immediately went to buy it. This book focuses on Celaena Sardothien, an assassin, and her participation in a competition almost to the death, similar to the Hunger Games. I loved the way the characters in this story are 3 dimensional. The aren´t completely good or completely evil (except the king), and they don't make me roll my eyes every three pages. The other books in the series are even better, following Celaena´s journey, and how she discovers herself. I seriously recommend this whole series.

happypug12's book review was featured in Well, That Was Awkward.
Well, That Was Awkward is one of the best books I've read in awhile. I received it as part of the Advanced Reading program, and this review is based on uncorrected text. Well, That Was Awkward stars Gracie, a thirteen-but-almost-fourteen year old girl whose sister Bret died before she was born. She desperately wants a tortoise, loves bagels, and most importantly, her best friend, Sienna, who totally deserves it, is liked by Gracie's secret crush, AJ. Not that Gracie isn't happy for Sienna. She totally is. Sienna's sporty and awesome and lovable, she and AJ are perfect for each other. Right? And what about Emmet, Gracie's long-time guy best friend. He can't possibly like-like her. Never. Gonna. Happen. Right? I loved this book; and I love Gracie because I feel like I am Gracie. The best thing about her is how relatable I feel to her, as if I'm in her shoes and I've gone through every awkward struggle. When Gracie's in trouble I feel guilty. When she cries I want to cry with her. I couldn't put this book down until the last page, and I desperately need a sequel. Rachel has masterfully created one of my new favorite books, and I recommend this to all ages or anyone who has ever felt awkward, ever.

I would like to win this because I like to read anything I can get my hands on, and I do really love to read weird facts and then weird out my friends with gross or spooky facts. Um, yep, that's my reason. Thanks!

Interesting, but there are some problems with this. First, if Amazon gets permission for their drones to deliver to customers, what's stopping other companies from getting the same idea? It wouldn't be fair for just Amazon to get drones, and soon other companies would be pushing for drones of their own. The sky could end up filled with drones. It isn't a problem when you have just one drone in the sky, but what about when you have thousands, maybe even millions?
