I have Kid Athletes and my sister has Kid Presidents, and I would love to add this to our collection. I've always been fascinated with famous world-changers and what they were like growing up. I would love to win this book!

I'm going as a 50's girl that my dad calls a greaser. Anyway, leather jacket, red lipstick, main accents of the costume.

I gave this book such a low rating because, to be honest, it really was just okay. And that's not even taking into account the ending, which I HATED. I'm gonna have some spoilers in here, so, you've been warned. Alright, so a small group of rebels called Allegiant make it out of the city and what they find shocks them. It is not the war-torn apocalyptic place that Edith Prior made it out to be. Instead they find a compound and learn that there are more test cities besides theirs. They know they must do something, and, well, let's just say that at one point, everyone's mad at Tobias, so then they make a plan with some other people to tell their whole city the truth and take away the compounds power. Part of their plan is that someone has to go on a suicide mission to get a serum. Caleb volunteers to try to make it up to Tris after he betrayed her. But Tris forces him to let her take on the mission. And here is the part when I freaked out; Tris died. TRIS DIED!!!!! At first I was thinking, this has to be a mistake. How are they going to make her come back to life? And then they told Tobias and I was like, this is permanent?!?!?!?! I've got to give Roth some credit. Actually killing the main character is definitely original and outside the norm. Nevertheless, I hated the ending. With a passion. It's just... Tris and Tobias were such a good couple!!! Anyway, I guess I'd recommend reading the first two books and then imagining and ending rather than reading this book. It will be easier on your tear ducts.

This sequel to Divergent is so amazing. It reminds a lot of The Hunger Games, as far as similarities in action, romance, and plot. You know, society separated into several parts, an overthrow of government, they even take over minds like the tracker jacker venom did to Peeta. I like the way that there is no gap in time between the books. Anyway, those Dauntless who did not betray their faction are now on the run, refugees in their own society. Meanwhile, guilt eats away at Tris about killing her friend. She hasn't told anyone yet and she is scared that they will treat her differently. So finally, when she is forced to take truth serum and tells everyone about what happened, they feel angry and disappointed with her. Her relationship with Tobias is at a standstill and they don't trust each other, which is sad because they are SUCH a great couple! The Dauntless join the factionless and plan to attack the Erudite, while Tris is busy making her own plans. She's working with Tobias' abusive father, Marcus. Not because she want's to, but because she needs to know the truth about what's "outside the fence". What's in the outside world and why was it hidden, and, will Tris get to Jeanine in time to get the information?
