hummingbird1's book review was featured in Serafina's Promise.
I am not usually a big fan of poetry books, but I made a huge exception with Serafina's Promise. 11 year old Serafina has a secret dream that she has only shared with her best friend. She wants to go to school and become a doctor, so she can save little babies like her dead brother. But how could her family ever afford for her to go to school? Or who would help out with the chores? And how could she ever convince Manman to let her go? In Serafina's Promise, Serafina learns more about family, love, and not giving up. Serafina's promise is a really special book. You really feel Serafina's emotions, and want all her wishes to be granted. I loved this book, and hope you read it too. I recommend this book to boys and girls ages 10+.

llpanda's book review was featured in Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Shatter Your Senses! (ANNUAL).
When this book came in the mail from the DOGO advanced reading club my whole family gathered on the couch to read it. Me and my siblings LOVE Ripley's believe it or not and this book does not disappoint. Full of freaky feats and funny facts Ripley's is sure to please your whole entire family. I reccommend this book to anyone young and old. A special thank you to DOGO and whoever else gave us this book to read. We all really enjoyed it

hummingbird1's movie review was featured in Marley & Me.
I have always loved books and movies about dogs, and after watching Marley and Me, it reminds me why. John and Jenny Grogan decide to start their family by getting a puppy. They fall in love with Marley and bring him home. John has all these memories of such well behaved dogs that walk beside their owners without a leash, and have amazing manners. Marley is not like that at all. They try to train Marley, but Marley stays his crazy self. As Marley grows, their family grows also. The family of three reaches six. As John. Jenny, and the kids grow older, Marley teaches them some unforgettable life lessons about love and family. I love this film, and could watch it all the time. I recommend Marley and Me to boys and girls ages 7+.
