The Testing is a unique book with incredible similarity to The Hunger Games and Divergent. Our main character is Malencia Vale, also known as Cia. The story follows her journey to Tosu City for The Testing-a series of challenges and obstacles meant to help determine who will end up being the next group world leaders. I enjoyed this book, but it was slightly predictable and there were only a few plot twists. The main character is slightly nerdy, is younger than all of her classmates, but surprise, surprise! The boy that everyone has a crush on likes her! Other than that, the story is very interesting and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Hunger Games.

I really enjoyed reading this book! I had some very high expectations because JK Rowling write the book and Harry Potter is one of my favorite book series of all time. This book exceeded the expectations! It is set in a land called Cornucopia and is ruled by King Fred the Fearless. The book traveled down roads that I would not have expected, and there were plot twists the I did expect and ones that I didn't expect. It is a book that does not have a ton of action, like fight scenes in it, but there are plenty examples of trickery and betrayal. Overall, I loved this book and would recommend it to any of my friends.

Yes, yes, yes! I loved this book! I tried to read it multiple times before and couldn't really get into it, but after I gave it about a year I got into the series and the fandom again. There are multiple series that are connected to Percy Jackson, I recommend you read those after finishing this series. Percy has such a funny narration and inner monologue, and the way he describes are much more relatable than other books that have the first person narration. The plot is surprisingly believable, and I can't put into words how much I LOVE this book and series.
