If you liked this book, you should definitely read Anything But Typical. It's about a boy who also has a disability, and is a lot like this book.

This is rare, but this movie is just like the book! Although I didn't like Jeremy's voice, I found the movie touching and hilarious. A happy story about friendship, mystery, and adventure, this movie is about a boy and his friend on a quest to find 4 keys that will open a box. Not just any box, a box that holds the meaning of life. Exciting! New! The Meaning of Life! Who wouldn't want to find it?

The. Best. Book. Ever. Another fantastic installment by Cynthia Kadohata, KIra-Kira certainly ranks high on my list of favorites. It's the tale of a Japanese family who moves away from their mostly Japanese village to a town where they are almost shunned. In Kira-Kira, Katie has a strong relationship with her sister, Lynn. They are the best of friends, but Lynn is the older sister, and their is a mutual agreement that she is in charge. But when something tragic occurs, Katie will need to stay strong and be take care of the family. Can she do it?

This book was sort of... meh. It was okay, even good at some parts, but I found it downright depressing. I mean, a girl with almost no friends? Come on. Everybody has at least a few. And even if you don't, moping around isn't going to get you any more. Also, I find divorce stories very depressing and sad. The mom in this book just cries all the time. I don't mean to be harsh, but get a life! Parts of this book are worth reading, but mostly, it was terrible.
