I already reviewed this book, but I'm making a new review now that I've finished it. Let me tell you, this is officially my new favorite book. Ever. It has left such an impact on me, and I'm so extremely glad I found it. If you feel confused with your best friend sometimes, or maybe you've dealt with a friend who has ditched you before, this book is for you! I related to it so much and learned an insane amount of stuff on how I can become stronger next time a fight happens! The book is about a girl named Niki who has been best friends with a girl named Ava since third grade. Niki felt so happy when she met Ava because she was so naturally cool, and she had been, like, accepted by this cool person! That ends one day at PE though when Ava decides to go off with one of the popular girls apart of the "Squad" instead. Niki is so confused and hurt. Ava continues to hurt Niki, and when Niki rekindles a friendship with someone she knew before meeting Ava, she finally sees who her true friends are. She builds the strength to know she's good enough, and finally sees that she deserves more than she's getting.

I'm halfway through this book and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. I can't believe how much this book's main character, Niki, resembles me, and I find myself constantly relating to everything she says and goes through! I totally recommend this book to anyone having friendship troubles or who has had them in the past. All this time I thought I was the only one who felt the way I do (confused, jealous, like I was being replaced) but now I know that others feel the same, too, and I'm gonna save this book forever so I can refer to it and feel a sense of comfort when I'm having friendship problems.

I'm almost done with this book and I LOVE it! I'm kinda behind in Harry Potter. Everyone else has read all the books, seen all the movies, gotten all the merchandise, and visited the Wizarding World at Universal Studios, and I haven't done any of those yet, except for reading this! I must say though, I'm OBSESSED! Harry Potter is the kind of book you need to sit down and pay attention to, so I'd recommend reading this before bed or when you have 20 minutes (at least) to sit down and get comfy and in the right headspace. If not, you might not be paying full attention and could possibly forget some characters, since one missed character could confuse you for the whole book! Anyway, so far this book is super cool. It includes wizards, magic, and friendship together. I love all things wizards but don't like fantasy-type books that much, so this book is perfect! I so badly wish I could go to Hogwarts. :( One last thing I recommend is to read the book before the movie. I don't know, that's just what I'm gonna do and I think it'll keep you motivated to get through the series if you do this. All in all, I really recommend this book!

The Hetty Feather series is so good! I actually think that the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th books are better than the first, and usually that isn't the case, but I didn't like the 4th book (Diamond) because it kinda dragged on. Summary: The book is set in Victorian England and the main character is Hetty Feather. She is a girl living at the Foundling Hospital, which is pretty much an orphanage for children whose parents couldn't afford to take care of them/died. Hetty hates it at the hospital, but towards the middle of the book, she discovers that her mother isn't dead, which is what Hetty originally thought! She actually meets her mother! I won't say any more because I don't want to give away anything. In the second book, Sapphire Battersea, Hetty is old enough to go off on her own. She works for people but doesn't find it very fun, and the whole time she's just thinking about her mother. Something sad happens and Hetty decides her next journey will be to find her father. In the third book, Emerald Star, Hetty sets off to find her father. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I won't say if she finds him or not! The 4th book, Diamond, is the story of a girl living at the circus. Her name is Diamond, and she has her own part in the show. They treat her very badly at the circus but she finds hope when she meets Hetty! Lastly, in the 5th book, Hetty and Diamond leave the circus to put on their own show together at a big theater. It's a dangerous place for children, but they become successful. Overall, these books were great and are amazing for kids that might not be as interested in reading since they're so addicting!

This is an amazing book about best friends who've known each other since birth. Then one has to move, and it's like the whole world is crashing down on them. This book is just so fun to read, and the type you could read any time of day without much concentration! I could read this 20 times without getting tired of it since I think it's super fun and entertaining! 5 stars for sure! It's one of my favorite books.
