The Lorax is the best of Dr. Seuss's books. It is about a truffala tree forest and a human comes to cut down trees and makes a thneed. The Lorax tries to stop it but soon all the trees are cut down. So the Lorax send all the animals away and then he goes away too and leaves only one word: Unless....

Really? I thought the poet did a great job on the poems. And the illustrations aren't horrible, they're realistic and fun to look at. Also I don't know how you liked the poem about the girl who wanted a pony. That's just sad. But this is just my opinion.

I read this book at least 5 times. It's that good. Before I continue, I should say that I really enjoy Historical-Fiction books, so this review might turn out to be highly opinionated on that. This book is written in verse, and it's probably my first book that I have read that is written in verse...

This book is possibly for a slightly younger crowd than me, but I still like some of the poems, especially when the words are switched around and they make sense both ways. These are called spoonerisms, by the way, and they are fun to read and say!

I love poems. I love the way that the poet explains him/herself. I think i can be a poet because I explain myself and i can tell people if im at a rough time but in a glad way.
