This book is really good! If you are a basketball fan(The Great Greene Heist by Varian Johnson) or a person who loves books about eccentric teachers(Mr. Terupt book series by Rob Buyea), you will love this book's playful combination of both. 5th graders Rip and Red already have their year planned out, and they're still walking to school! Everything changes once they have a new teacher named Mr. Acevedo, the cool tattoo-filled teacher who vows not to give homework or worksheets. Later, they find out that he's the basketball coach. For Red, he's a basketball machine who's really in it to win it. For Rip, he's amazing at free throws and has skills at basketball, but because of his visible traits of autism(traits, not completely autistic), it's best for him to play, but sit on the sidelines during games. Both boys make the team. Then, there's a huge project that Mr. Acevedo assigns that partners Rip with foul- mouthed, wheelchair- stricken Avery. In Rip's school life, Avery isn't so bad, and slowly becomes a friend. In Rip's basketball life, Clifton United hasn't won a single game. In Rip's community, parents are furious that Mr. Acevedo isn't teaching the proper fundamentals to his students, mainly test prep. In the end, everything turns out wonderful. Avery and Rip nail their project presentation and essay. Rip scores a lot of points for Clifton United against the formidable Millwood, and Red wins the last game of the season with two free throws. Mr. Acevedo work ends up helping his students receive exceedingly high scores. This school year definitely was an amazing one for Rip and Red. One reason I can really relate to this story is because I, too, have traits of autism, just not as visible's as Red's. I love how Phil Bildner creates characters that aren't like anyone else. For me, it gives a sense of reality, how there are people with disabilities who can achieve great things.

This is a book for those of you who like paranormal/weird/sweet romance/appropriate/no cursing/mystery all in one book series. It's perfect for anyone who wants to read something romantic and scary all at once. The main character Daisy is someone everyone would want to be friends with. I think that everyone has a little bit of Daisy in them, whether they realize it or not. I think everyone wants to go on some sort of adventure, or solve a mystery, and Daisy does just that, giving you that feeling of "I want to do that" or just feeling content reading the book. Either way it's perfect for everyone! At the end of each book It leaves you wanting more, thankfully there's a lot in the series. THANK YOU! Marlene Perez for the perfect teen/preteen series!!

Tamiko loves working in her best friends mom's ice cream shop, Molly's. The problem is, Molly's is new, and not a lot of customers were stopping in, even thought the ice cream is awesome. You just can't stop loving Chloe :D

This is an amazing sequel to the Pretties. Tally has been turned into a Special, a specially (get it?) engineered "police force" for her city. Tally and her group of friends, The Cutters, must keep the Uglies in their place, keep the Pretties "bubbly", and keep the remaining Smokies from handing out the cure. But when Tally is faced with someone from her past, and the news of a possible war, what will she choose: her "special" powers and thoughts of superiority, or the chance of a new world?

Kiki loves everything fashion! One day Kiki realizes there is a new girl her name is mika! Kiki tries to get her to talk and stuff like that . But mika does not want to . Mika also said to get kikis dog out of her yard or she will call animal control. Kiki gets very mad . Read the story to find out what happens next . I really did not like this book. When Annie was younger she loved hunting . But her did not like that . When her father died she knew she had to keep shooting and not stop because other people didn't like it. As Annie got older she got very popular she was in MANY competitions. And even found her soon to be husband in one! I thought this was a great story and I recommend all ages to read this book. I rate this book 5/5 stars - Pizzagirl7 💋

it tells kids that love is magic in its own way
