I found this book filled with wonder and excitement, connects you through the story leaving u with a rhetorical ending of what will happen next.
The Sword Thief (The 39 Clues, Book 3)
By Peter Lerangis
This book is actually not bad when I first started reading it but when I start reading it was so interesting filled clues that is why it is called 39 clues. This book is about a girl that is 14 years of age and her younger brother named Dan who goes to Japan trying to find the sword thief the clues was filled with Japanese and they had to try finding the clues themselves they had some help from a girl I think Alistair yeah she helped them about the Japanese clues and to try to find all about the stuff the sword thief than they found a coin that looked like Harry potter thing it was called the philosophers stone and than they found another clue of how it was made and then they think there might be a lie for one of the chosen clues from their uncle. In the end they found the mystery after the sword thief and in the end Amy was very sick she went behind a tree and was terribly sick and the end. This book is funny a lot of secret stuff full with clues between pages and this was the first book I red of 39 clues.
Escaping the Giant Wave
By Peg Kehret
After reading the summary for this book, I was ready to dive in with some anticipation for a good book. To start off, the details and imagery in this book were creative and thoughtful. There was so much excitement in this novel, and it felt like the danger would never end. One thing, however, that I wish the book had was more time to develop. I felt that the whole plot was a bit rushed, and that by the end of the book, I didn't really know the characters better than when it had started. This book is less a story, and more an event to tell about, and that's why I feel like I enjoyed it less. It is an easy read, but might be mildly scary for younger readers, so I would recommend the book for ages 8+
Lyddie (New Windmills)
By Katherine Paterson
Lydia "Lyddie" Worthen, a young girl in 1846, about twenty years right before U.S. Civil War had began. Her mother, Mattie, who you would sometimes see her letters to Lyddie but not so often had died later in the book. Her sister, Agnes, also died, too. Her another sister, Rachel, and her brother Charles "Charlie" who Lyddie seldom talk about but mostly about Charlie more than Rachel. Lyddie, who was only young girl when she decided to go out of her home, earn some money, send some back to her mother for the debt when her father had left. Her friends, Diana Goss, Luke Stevens, Prudence Allen, etc. This book is inspiring but sad book. This tells that even though if you lost someone or something very valuable, just keep on going, no matter what. - Happy Reading!
Trading Faces
By Julia DeVillers, Jennifer Roy
Trading Faces by Julia DeVillers and Jennifer Roy tells a very interesting and entertaining story of two identical twins in middle school. Payton and Emma are totally different, even though they look exactly the same. With Payton being the fashion and outgoing one, while Emma being intelligent and shy, they start their first day of middle school. Things turned out to be way different than they thought, they had completely different schedules with different cliques. But that wasn't it, after an accident they were forced to change places, and gradually, they were trading faces. My favorite character in this book is actually Emma, I love how she's so quirky, awkward, yet brilliant and nice to everyone. This book deals with a lot of problems we teenagers face today, such as cliques, popularity, crushes, and most importantly, being who we are. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially people who like realistic fiction books! Trust me, it's awesome and you won't stop reading the following books of this series :)))
Kickoff! (Barber Game Time Books)
By Tiki Barber, Ronde Barber
"Kickoff" by Tiki and Ronde Barber tells the childhood of two NFl brothers, Tiki and Ronde Barber. They are kids going into middle school. They were smart kids until middle school because of the new change. They play football on the streets everyday after school. The towns council wants to build a factory but it will pollute the air. Their mom stands up against the town's council. The brothers sign up for football and have tryouts. They find out what position and string they play. They go and practice with the teams best quarterback. They sit on the bench most of the games. The teams 1st string running back got injured and Tiki becomes the new back up. Tiki got mad at the coach and the coach puts him in and he bluffs it up. At the last game they both play. Tiki and Ronde Barber were good football players who learned sometimes if you be patient you will get your chance. They both inspired me and if you read this book hopefully you will be inspired too.
The Candy Smash (The Lemonade War Series)
By Jacqueline Davies
The fourth book in the Lemonade Wars series follows the life of Evan, a fourth grader who wrestles with a secret crush, Valentines Day arts and crafts, and discovering his true self. His younger sister, Jessie is trying to make Evan's fourth grade year as miserable as possible. The precocious journalist believes everything should be publi; Evan however, believes in privacy. As these two siblings battle eaxh other, they first have to make it through fourth grade. Davies presents a true coming-of-age story of self-discovery, that is sure to entertain fans of the Lemonade Wars series. What I thought about it: I usually prefer first-person point pf views, but in this case I love the third person narrative. The author perfectly described every character's feelings exceedingly well. The hardships that the characters had to overcome were relatable to me, and the story was realistic. The book kind of reminds me of Andrew Clements' novels which I love. The short entries of poetry were very enlightening. I've noticed that the books have become more and more serious as the series progresses, and I hate to admit it, but that's just part of growing up. The added twist to the story was the mystery of the candy hearts and I think that it tied the story together very well. Overall I think that boys and girls alike would enjoy this story. ~ifeelbookish

After his plans never seam to work, olaf gets two needles together, adds poisonous deadly snake venom, and kills uncle monty. The kids know it was him,but bc the needles look like snake bits, they have no proof. Instead, they r sitting there crying abt there uncle Monty, and thinking abt the lasts moments they had together. The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events, Book 1)
By Lemony Snicket
Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire lived a happy life in their mansion with their parents. Violet was an inventor, Klaus loved to read, and Sunny had four sharp teeth that she bit everything with. But on one unexpected day, Mr. Poe, a banker, told the children that their parents died in a fire. Their parents had a big fortune that would go to Violet once she came of age. Their parents' wills had clearly stated the children must be raised by a relative. The children were sent to live with Count Olaf. He gave them hard chores to do everyday, and did not give them great living conditions. After living with Count Olaf for awhile, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny figured out he wanted the fortune. He cooked up a plan to get the Baudelaire fortune, and it was up to Violet, Klaus, and Sunny to stop him. I loved this book, and I could not put it down. Lemony Snicket does a great job, and I feel as if I am in the story; it is as if I am chopping wood with them and feeling their misery. I recommend this book to boys and girls ages 10+.
