Lawrence Anthony is an extravagant writer who details his intriguing experiences in the African Wild on his game reserve Thula-Thula. “The Elephant Whisperer” by Lawrence Anthony with Graham Spence is a nonfiction memoir allowing readers to see first-hand accounts of the action in Thula-Thula. In this novel Lawrence and his crew of rangers take in a large herd of rebellious elephants, saving them from their death and pain. Throughout this novel we see the bond between Lawrence and these elephants strengthen as they learn things from one another. In particular, the matriarch of the herd, Nana develops an individual bond with Lawrence. Many obstacles and troubles are encountered on Thula-Thula, such as poachers trying to kill indigenous species. Lawrence and the herd overcome these issues and warm up to each other creating an everlasting bond between man and animal. The most prominent theme represented by this novel is conservation and preservation of animals. Lawrence himself believes that all animals should be wild, free of capture and not forced to do tasks for humans. He uses a very moving quote that touches the heart and soul of readers, “To me, the best cage is an empty one” p (368). This truly shows how dedicated Lawrence is to nature and his feelings toward animals of all types. This novel was really ground-breaking in the sense that it tells such an interesting story while also providing information. Lawrence uses such a unique way of writing to incorporate these two aspects of writing together, while also providing intricate details in his work. Overall, this book is worthy of a 5 star rating, and is an absolutely amazing novel for people who love and embrace nature at its finest.

I absolutely loved this book! There were so many cliffhangers. Plus tons of climax points. I would highly recommend. If i could give it more than a five i would. SUMMARY- MAY BE SPOILERS--There is a small baby boy who's family gets murdered. He somehow escapes unnoticed. But he doesn't even know he is escaping. He goes to the graveyard while the murderer is hot on his trail . The ghosts make him leave. But they protect the baby. They say that they will keep him. His guardian is named Silas. He is half living half dead. He is raised by the ghosts. He learns to haunt and to fade. There are TONS of crazy adventures that happen. One day the murder finds him again. Want to know why he wants to kill him so bad or what happens??? Read the book to find out.

Alexander Graham Bell had a bad childhood, with his two brothers being infected with TB, the eventual death of them, and Alexander Bell not being a good student. He was born in Great Britain in 1847, but after ten years, the family had to move to America. Alexander Graham Bell became a teacher and a professor. Later, he invented a lot of things, such as the levitated boat and the telephone. He also had trouble proving he had invented the phone, but in the end, it made him famous. He died in 1923 in Canada and is a great example of somebody having a successful life after a troubling childhood. I recommend this biography for boys and girls, grades third to fourth.

Tina thinks the world is just not fair(Aka: The Script By the Fair Fairy). Then, the puppet got 4 half cookies. Ramone even thinked the world is just not fair! Then, as the Fair Fairy quickly called, Gary came and scooped up 3 ice-cream to Tina and Ramone, Tina and Ramone accidentally thought the world is fair and started to cry! The wicked fairy became terribly, tremendously, super angrily, madder..to destroy the scoops up, scaring Tina and Ramone! Then the Fair Fairy wickedly laughed. Then, As the Downward Dog repeatedly nicknamed Dude, the Fair Fairy became the most maddest fairy EVER. Then, Tim and Brenda also came instead of Tina and Ramone. Brenda teasly spits the tongue out water, with 2 toys, and Tim got 1 toy. Then, the Fair Fairy repeatedly destroys, and wickedly laughed! Then Dog Man deleted the show using the control TV. Rick Riordan’s The Throne of Fire is a fantasy story and the 2nd book in a three book series. The Throne of Fire is about two siblings Sadie and CArter who live in the 21st nome in New York City are now on a quest to awaken the sun god Ra to stop the chaos snake Apophis from rising and devouring the world in chaos, but they must first find the three parts of the Book of Ra, and deal with Gods, Monsters and Magicians trying to stop them, So the siblings travel with the dwarf god Bes to gather the pieces of the book of Ra and travel through the river of night in the duat and awaken Ra who ends up being old and weak, then Apophis rises and a battle ensues. The book focuses on Egyptian mythology. The book was very exciting to read and had very fun and interesting characters. I would definitely recommend the series to a friend, the first person view from two people was really nice, and I could read about what Sadie and Carter are thinking. The book had some exciting plot points and battles. I gave this book a 4.5 star rating. The story of the book was fun and exciting. I liked this book very much.

I loved this book so much it has so many facts in it that I did not even know and it says little kids!I think this is a great book for all ages.one of the really good facts are did you know that frozen water is lighter than water ,that's why ice cubes float!also it answers questions like any does popcorn pop! So far it is really good, it's also a very dark story. My dad introduced it to me! I really like it so far! Edit: I finished the book, and it is really good. I wouldn't recommend it because it is kind of an inappropriate book.
