This book shows great drama to the main character and the others. The best thing that was about this book was the funny Balloon goons. It made me laugh.

High school musical is a great kick-off! The main person trying to mess up Troy and Gabriella's love is Sharpay Evans, and she has a huge crush on Troy! But Sharpay realizes it's harder than she thinks. Will she get her guy, or will Troy stay with Gabriella? A great book, and a great movie! Would recommend it to ages 7 and up!

The ebook version was the version I read. It is a really great book, with a shocking climax and falling action. Now that was definitely the kind of novel with 'sugar and spice and everything nice'. I enjoyed every bit of it, despite the fact that I wouldn't really put it on my top three favorite books. Amelie is the kind of girl who is independent and sparkles in her own unique way!

I started reading the Captain Underpants when I was in 3rd Grade. Now I'm going into the the 8th Grade and I practically grew up with the Captain Underpants series. The tenth installment in the series picks up right where the ninth novel left off, with the the time-traveling Tippy Tinkletrousers apparently having defeated the jovial hero. Luckily, the good guys and the bad guys both have access to time-traveling machines, so the story forms an intricate web of action that was entertaining to the reader. Over the course of the book, the characters relive historical events like the Big Bang, the extinction of dinosaurs, the start of the Ice Age, the world's first comic, and more. My favorite part of the books are the Flip-O-Ramas. They're actually really cool, and it makes the book seem more visual, even with the comical illustrations. I love Dav Pilkey's books, but I feel like this is the last Captain Underpants book that I will be reading in quite a long time. It had all the outrageous humor that I had remembered, and even though it's not in my reading range anymore, I somewhat enjoyed it. ~ifeelbookish

Em gets Sawyer- that's great right? He's still the one Em likes, right? Sawyer's gifts are great. They are so thoughtful and her. But Em's mind keeps drifting off to Alex. Meanwhile at home, there is a family disagreement that makes Em's life very different. Can Em sort out her feelings for everything? Suzanne Nelson twists love and holiday spirit into this book. Trading Faces by Julia DeVillers and Jennifer Roy tells a very interesting and entertaining story of two identical twins in middle school. Payton and Emma are totally different, even though they look exactly the same. With Payton being the fashion and outgoing one, while Emma being intelligent and shy, they start their first day of middle school. Things turned out to be way different than they thought, they had completely different schedules with different cliques. But that wasn't it, after an accident they were forced to change places, and gradually, they were trading faces. My favorite character in this book is actually Emma, I love how she's so quirky, awkward, yet brilliant and nice to everyone. This book deals with a lot of problems we teenagers face today, such as cliques, popularity, crushes, and most importantly, being who we are. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially people who like realistic fiction books! Trust me, it's awesome and you won't stop reading the following books of this series :)))

This book is about a girl who struggles to speak up and is facing problems at school and at home. Her mother's new boyfriend Lenny is a horrible guy who is manipulating her and practically ruining her brother Bryce's life . Zoey is torn in between speaking up, and family.

One lesson that Ava learns that will help her life is that knowing the future and answers would never help her life which means, knowing everything can hurt somebody's emotion or feelings. For example, Ava asks some negative questions that is relating with her family to the pencil and the pencil replies her questions, the answers made Ava frustrated and thwart, and she realizes that the pencil is causing a lot of problem. So, this means to Ava is that knowing unrevealed things and answers would not make a victorious life for her, which this made Ava pessimistic at first. And also, she realizes her life is so much better with out her extraordinary blue pencil. Consequently, knowing everything and problems would never make a triumphant life for a person. I'd rate this book an "8 out of 10." I would recommend this book because Ava is truthful and honest how she expresses her true emotions, and since the setting of this story is mostly school themed, it relates with students' life. One question that I'd ask to Ava is "How does a pencil affect and change your afterward life?"

I read Mia's Boiling Point along with books 11-12 in a three book set. When i first started with this book, I thought, shouldn't i start with book 1? Mia, who is currently in a shoe obsession, finds these awesome pair of shoes-her dream shoes. They're not too high heeled, not chunky or spiky, and are black but sparkly. Then, she meets a new girl at her school named Olivia Allen, who ALSO loves fashion and shoes, just like Mia. But even with her new friend, there's trouble brewing. Katie is worried Mia will ditch her (just like her old friend Callie did) and Alexis and Emma just aren't warming up to her. And, Olivia is also not a good listener and an awful locker buddy. And, the girls got to make cupcakes for emma's brothers' party! But thank goodness olivia has her own locker now! Mia used $41 out of her shoe savings to get Olivia's locker looking fabulous, but Olivia still hasn't paid her back, AND says she did it herself! Finally, the Cupcake Club discovers the real olivia! *SPOILERS* Olivia used the forty one dollars she owed for teh shoes Mia so desperately wanted! But, through good times and bad, the Cupcakers will always be there for each other.
