Stuart Gibbs second book in the MBA series is as fantastic as the first. In this installment, Dashiell Gibson is still on Moon Base Alpha, a small moon station. Since it is a small place to live in space, everyone is shocked when the leader, Nina Stack, disappears from the base. Now it's up to Dash, again, to save their fearless and quite emotionless leader. But all clues lead to nowhere, and he might end up needing more help than he ever thought, and only one thing is for sure: The people in danger could be convicted themselves, and that means EVERYONE can be a suspect, even the ones in trouble. With his own secret on the line, and a friend who can help, Dash must find out where Nina went in order to keep everyone on the base alive. He needs all the clues he can get, but even alongside the people he trusts, could this mystery be too much for Dash to handle? I really liked this book, and I know you guys wouldn't want to miss out on such a fun filled mystery! Hope you enjoy this second book of MBA by Stuart Gibbs!

This book's genre is fantasy and it was written by Thea Stilton. This book is about a group of 7 mice. They are all brave, fearless, strong, caring, and kind. They save fantasy lands when the lands are in trouble. On this journey, they have to save the lands precious lotus flowers! All the creatures need the lotus flowers but the mice don't know that the flowers are being destroyed for a good cause! Their journey starts in the land of Minwa where they meet many mystical creatures. The main characters are a group of friends named Thea, Paulina, Colette, Nicky, Pam, and Will. They are all brave and fearless because they go on journey's where they could get trapped or sick and they can solve any problem! For example, in the book they discover that a creature is destroying magical flowers that keep the land alive and they are risking their lives to save the fairies, creatures, and the land from all dying. Two key events that "added" to the plot is the Thea Sisters split up getting information about the plot and calmed down mean creatures and made new friends. They "added" to the plot because they made new friends who had clues so helpful that they all added up and they were able to solve problems that the Thea Sisters didn't know about. At the beginning of the story Violet was shy even in front of her friends! She was too shy to present her creation to her friends. In the middle of the story is where we saw this change. On page 193, Violet yelled, "If it is you, Umibozu, stop hitting us!" Now Violet is brave and fearless because of her actions. One unanswered question that I'd like to ask the author is did the mice have to save the fantasy land again? I enjoyed it when all the mice joined together as a team again most about this book. I enjoyed it because they all shared their clues and I put them together and made and solved a clue. I would recommend this book because it has lessons on friendship and kindness and that is very important. Many kids would enjoy this book because it built excitement for me and it could for other kids.

Nicholas Benedict is a child genius. He can read any book in minutes, can figure out how to fix any machine, and has a phonographic memory. But he also has narcolepsy. Narcolepsy is a sleeping conditions that sends Nicholas in a deep sleep at any unexpected moment, but especially when he is experiencing strong emotions. Because of his character traits and his condition, Nicholas is sent to Rothchild's Manor after he is kicked out of a different orphanage. Here he is locked in his own room at night and bullied by the Spiders. He makes enemies and one friend-but will the pressure from the Spider's crack the friendship? Nicholas soon finds out about a mystery to solve-a hidden treasure. Turns out the founders of the orphanage (the Rothchilds) had more treasure-and part of it was missing, the secret buried with the couple. Nicholas is determined to find the treasure to free him from the orphanage life. But someone else is looking for the treasure-Mr. Collum, the orphanage director. Will Nicholas be able to beat Mr. Collum to the finish line? I liked in this book that Nicholas really makes having so much intelligence look like fun. In some other books children with incredible knowledge are portrayed in a negative fashion. I really liked that this was solid background information on Mr. Benedict from the series "The Mysterious Benedict Society". Now we meet Nicholas, his child self and learn where he came from, about his sleeping condition, and how he grew up. Although there are a few gaps, we now can understand Nicholas as an adult. The main character Nicholas, had depth. We felt what he was feeling, we understood him, we cried when he cried. However, the other characters seemed to be a bit predictable. John had a sob story background, and was hesitant to defy the bullies. Violet was kind and determined to help her family. Even though the characters had predictable faults I think Stewart did a great job of tying all the characters and the plot together so that the puzzle pieces fit. I also liked in this book that there were little hidden clues to the big picture. Stewart did a fine job of foreshadowing. I recommend this book to anyone 5th grade and up. I think the characters and overall mystery in this book would not be suitable for anyone below. On the other hand, I think this is the sort of book that any adult can read and still find enjoyable. I think this book is perfect for mystery lovers. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

this is a good book. If you have read the Mysterious Benedict Society books, you will most likely enjoy solving these puzzles! (even if you haven't read it)

This book is about life on the other side of the law and the not-so-clear distinction between right and wrong. I love this book because it has a slight twist of history and a lot of details. There are also some things in this book that leave you hanging. Plus, this author has also written the Gallagher Girls series! If you loved that you will love this one! Also, I am pretty sure there are a few more Heist Society books that Ally Carter wrote.

I picked up this book randomly, and I wasn't even predicting this would be a good book. Twelve-year-old Lizzie Durango and her dad have always had a zoo to call their home. A typical day for Lizzie would be at the zoo, writing in her notebook about the wolves. Everything was fine until Tyler comes along. Tyler Briggs is a runaway who hides in the zoo. He was hiding behind the elephants' cage until Lizzie found him. He had tried to steal the food of a grandmother and her 2 grandchildren. They soon become friends, and Lizzie lets him stay at her apartment. Lizzie's mother passed away when she was just born. Tyler ran away. Tyler stays there until Lizzie's dad finds out he was there. He says it's not safe for him, but Lizzie says it's fine. They go on a camping trip in Karen's truck. They find out she's behind all the wolves getting sick. They also want to find John Muir's lost cabin. Will they stop her and find John Muir's cabin? I rate this book 5/5 and recommend it to camping lovers.

It's an amazing opportunity, and even though it's almost midnight, she signs it, as all her hope is not yet lost. Suddenly, a strange man appears in her room, and with a narrow escape from midnight that Eventide, they crash through the massive clock tower of the town and are transported into seemingly into another world, a magical place called Nevermoor, thus cheating her death! The man, as Morrigan finds out, is the one and only Jupiter North! He brings her to his grand hotel and he tells her that he is entering her into a series of trials determining if she can get into the prestigious Wundrous Society, something Morrigan soon desperately wants to become part of, so she can finally be part of a family. She will have to compete against 500 other kids who are also competing for the few spots available, and if she can make it past the first few trials, she will have to present her special "knack" to the judges. But Morrigan has no clue what her special talent is, or how she'll figure it out! This question presses her as she is tested through every twist and turn of the Trials. Will Morrigan ever figure out her knack and become part of the Wondrous Society? Or will she have to be taken back to Jackalfax and face a terrible fate? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK! No joke, this is literally one of my favorite books OF. ALL. TIME!! If it was possible to give this book 10 stars, I would!! The plot is gripping and magical. I loved the action and suspense of the Trials, and one of my favorite parts is Christmas-- it is so so good! I cannot wait until the next book comes out! Jessica Townsend is a fantastic author and I love how she shaped the characters throughout the book. I really enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend this book to any fantasy-loving person, and everybody else as well! :)

Millicent Ostermeyer teams up with Chase Albright to solve the mystery of who killed Coach Killdare. The main suspect is Millie's dad, and Millie must find out who really did it to make sure her dad doesn't end up in prison. Spoiler alert, the French teacher did it. I recommend this for 8th grade to college student. seriously, if you are in elementary, you are not ready for this book.
