School of Fear
By Gitty Daneshvari
This amazing book is about 4 children who each have different things they are afraid of. Lets start with Madeleine Masterson who is terrified of BUGS, and loves Garrison Next there's Theodore Bartholomew who is petrified of dying. Then there is Garrison Feldman who is scared of deep water, well actually he doesn't like any water. They are sent of to live with Mrs.Wellington the way she teaches may be more frighten then you thought. It could just as well be the worst summer ever.
Sunwing
By Kenneth Oppel
After I finished Silverwing, I immediately borrowed Sunwing from my library! This is an incredible sequel and I love it!
Frozen Twisted Tale: Conceal, Don't Feel: A Twisted Tale
By Jen Calonita
This is 100% my favorite Disney Twisted Tale. When I first saw the little subtitle, "What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other?" I was so curious to see how that would actually work given how close the sisters are in the original movie. Of course, I can't say that I like this plot better than the original, but this should really be turned into a movie. That would be soooo cool!
Amelia Fang and the Half-Moon Holiday (The Amelia Fang Series)
By Laura Ellen Anderson
I like the bit where they eat the plums
Greystone Secrets #1: The Strangers
By Margaret Peterson Haddix
This book was incredibly entertaining to read and intense. It is about the 3 Greystone kids: Chess, Emma, and Finn. One day they came home from school and discovered there were three other kids with the same first, middle, last names and birthdays. Before they could ask their mom, Kate Greystone, about it she left on a spontaneous "business trip". They are left with Ms. Morales and her daughter, Natalie. They later find out that their mom will not be coming back and could be in danger. They go through her phone and computer that she oddly left at home and discover a coded letter. As they go through the code to find out what it is they are planning to bring their om back home. This leads to one crazy, action-packed adventure. All you have to do now is read the book to find out what happens in their adventure and if they get their mom back. I would give this book a five-star rating because I could really make a movie in my head. I would recommend this book to 5th through 6th graders.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Book 2 The Hammer of Thor
By Unknown
This Norse mythology masterpiece is written by Rick Riordan, the king of mythology writing. Unlike most of his books which are Greek mythology, this series Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard is Norse . I found it really unique that Mr.Riordan is writing Norse because it's something that took most of his readers (including me) by surprise. The Hammer of Thor is filled with laughs, action, and little tidbits from Norse mythology which makes learning about it fun, and is (in my opinion) better than The Sword of Summer Book 1. The one thing that blew me away was how Mr.Riordan incorporated his characters (Percy and Annabeth) from other books into his newest instalment of books, something I think is really hard and amazing and made the book even more fun to read. My friends described this book as "litty" but I call it a masterpiece (one of Riordan's best books yet) and is beautifully written. I do suggest reading the first book and of course reading the third book after #2. I recommend this for ages 9+ and die-hard Rick Riordan fans and give it 5/5 stars. HAPPY READINGS! Your fellow bookworm, bean_boy.... (look for my other book reviews!)

Warriors: The Broken Code #1: Lost Stars
By Erin Hunter
SO, some felines are doing stuff in this book of Warriors. It is number 1 in The Broken Code arc and tells the tale of three cats, Shadowpaw, Rootpaw, and Bristlepaw(later Bristlefrost). Rootpaw, in Skyclan, tries to be a "normal" warrior, meaning one that likes to FIGHT and kill innocent life forms to eat. He struggles with having Tree, a cat who is not a normal warrior as a father. Shadowpaw, in Shadowclan, receives mysterious visions. But other clans do not take him seriously. They say," AAAAAH. EEET is an evil plot to kill everyone! Oh no." And Bristlepaw, in Thunderclan, watches as something strange happens to her Clan's leader, Bramblestar. Well, the book is about how the Moonpool(that's how medicine cats get guided by Starclan, which is a bunch of dead warriors living in the sky) gets frozen, so no one can reach StarClan. Except maybe Shadowpaw, but as mentioned before, everyone says, "AAAAAAHHH. EEEET is an evil plot to kill everyone! Oh no." The visions tell of misbehaving kitties who are breaking the Warrior Code, and how everyone is DOOMED if something isn't done quickly. But what do those visions mean? Hmmm. I did not like this one very much because it had too little action. You will enjoy it if you like reading books about cats.
