This book was awesome. It is a realistic fiction book by Sydney Taylor about a family at New York in 1912. The family has 5 girls, but later in the series another surprise makes an appearance. All of the girls are fun, and in the books, it goes on about the adventures, troubles, and resolutions they all have in their life. The family is also Jewish, so it talks, and kind of teaches about their traditions, which I find very cool. I HIGHLY recommend this book, and it is the perfect read for 7+, just when most kids can read chapter books comfortably.

Have you ever imagined being an illegal third child? In addition to being an illegal child you have to learn how to blend in with new surrounding. Well the book Among the Imposters by Margaret Peterson Haddix shows just that. “Among the Imposters” is the second book in a series called Shadow Children. Luke Garner or should I say Lee Grant, all of his life he’s been hiding avoiding the population police. Population police are officers who encourage the law of illegal third children to help population levels decrease. They also invade people’s homes searching for exneys (illegal third children), executing the third children when they figure that they are actually third children. Luke was sent to the school of Hendricks with a fake I.D playing the role of a boy named Lee Grant. Hendricks School of Boys is a windowless school with brutal students who disrespect Luke, and the teachers are absolutely oblivious. One day Luke discovers a door that leads outside. Will Luke discover what lies outside of the Hendricks school? Will his question unfold? You have to read Among the Imposters to find out. I recommend this book or series for people in 5-8 grade who enjoy exciting thrillers because I feel that this has a pretty deep content. I also feel they might not understand the meaning, and purpose of the book or series. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did.

I just finished a book called "Bad Luck" by Pseudonymous Bosch. The genre is fantasy because there are fantasy creatures in the book. I rated it " just right" on a scale of 1 to 5 of easy, going up to challenging. I think I would recommend this book for grades 4 to 6. I really liked this book, but it is the third in a series, so you should start with the first two which are really good too.

This book... This book is such a beloved classic for such good reason. It was so full of imagery and brilliant plot that I was sad to reach the end. One thing I will say though, is that Avonlea seems just a little too perfect. Aside from the one disaster and some minor scrapes, everything happens so that life flows idylly. Other than that, the book was written splendidly with lots of care. Even though this book is suitable for readers of all ages, there are many profound quotes and little gems that may not be picked up by a younger crowd. It just refreshes and makes me happy every time I read an "Anne of" book because they're so wholesome and gracefully written. The author, L.M. Montgomery is a literary genius. I can't wait to follow Anne along on her journey.

The book "Among the Enemy" is an enthralling novel that always kept me at the edge of my seat. The main character is an illegal child. Yet he sacrifices himself to save his best friends and people like him. He is met with challenges and overcomes them with the help of friends of all ages. I highly recommend this realistic fiction story and I hope you will too.

The author of the book Michael Vey the Prisoner of Cell 25 by Richard Paul Evans is a science fiction book. The book (in my opinion) was a 10/10 would read again kind of book. It was just the right thing for me, it had plenty of action and it had lots of suspense. This is just the kind of book you would get if you wanted action and suspense. The first character introduced is Michael Vey, a bullied daily, short kid. He also only has one friend, Ostin, a chubby little Einstein. But their life changes when they meet Taylor, a popular cheerleader. You're probably wondering, “how did everything change for them??” Well, Michael has an electricity power, as seen on the cover of the book. (And told at the beginning too.) when Michael meets Taylor, it's when he was being bullied and getting dog piled. When he had enough of it, he shocked the three of the bullies. But what he didn't know, was that Taylor saw it all. Then, Taylor runs back inside the school, and the chapter ends there. Later on, when Michael and Taylor are friends, he find out that Taylor can “reboot” people. (Reboot as in, restarting your computer.) then, when Taylor tries to look up her birth documents, (because they were lost and she was adopted.) the Elgen academy finds her. Michael and Ostin don't know this at first but when they do find out, they get even more worried because Michael's mom was kidnapped on his birthday party by Elgen academy, and now, Taylor was gone. If you’re still not interested, this book is just as good as the Percy Jackson series! It would be a perfect match for anyone that likes that series! In conclusion, the book, Michael Vey, The Prisoner of Cell 25 is a great book for people that like action and lots of suspense.

this book is about a cat named kitty and was at home with uncle Merey because her owner went on a trip. then, when they came back, they brought a baby. Kitty thought in his mind that it was a dog, but the other kitty's thought it was cat. then they did some kind of race and the new kitty which was a baby won all of the races then kitty got angry and destroyed mostly the house then the owner told kitty that she needed a home to live just like bad kitty then she calmed down and went asleep. then kitty got the baby and ran away to get the baby from getting a bath. THE END.

A thrilling historical fiction novel suitable for eleven to fourteen year olds. The story follows a young Jewish girl living during a brutal time period, the Holocaust. She joined a resistance group with the job to sneak into and out of ghettos. Great story with good character development.
