In this imaginative tale set in a world resplendent with French food, swamps, and alligators, August DuPont endeavors to become a part of society. Up till now, he has been admonished by Aunt Hydrangea to stay inside, lest he be attacked by butterflies. But never could he have imagined that he would be introduced to three humans, all of his own age, while attempting to get Mud Pies. Never could he have thought that, on the next day, he would be introduced to another human, his aunt Orchid Malveu, who instructs him to find a valuable family heirloom. It is still surprising, though, when he discovers that he has summoned a zombie named Claudette from the grave. As August tries to befriend his rich cousins, all while keeping his zombie hidden, he discovers the history of the DuPont and Malveu families: specifically, their bitter rivalry over stolen hot sauce recipes, and he finds out the existence of an ancestor who practiced necromancy using the Zombie Stone, the expensive family heirloom Orchid wishes to locate. What I liked about this book about problems with zombies was its world-building. The imaginative setting where the story takes place, namely, Pepperville, a small town near the Croissant City, situated in a place reminiscent of Louisiana, is very interesting and causes the book to have a whimsical atmosphere. The zombie, Claudette, was amusing. Also, overall, the book was really funny and had good illustrations. The writing was okay: neither good nor bad, and there were too many semicolons in my opinion. But this is an engaging book to read for fun, and it has humor in it, though not much action

What happened afterwards? After Jonas took Gabriel to elsewhere? I had always been a fan of the The Giver quartet. As I was reading this book, I felt like being a part of it since everything came along together smoothly and everything in the book seemed so familiar. If you had read The Giver, I recommend you to finish up this book as well! The reason why will simply be while recalling the exhilarating stories of The Giver, new adventures await. Since Son was written in a totally different point of view, you’ll find out exploring what was happening on the other hand very interesting. Well, not just the story itself, but also the lessons and things I had learnt from it, were all reasons this book is recommended by me. You’ll find out everything has a dark side no matter how perfect it seems. Enjoy the adventure of Claire, Gabriel’s mother, and let your soul be cleansed by her spirit!

Review: 11 year old Alex Petroski is a boy who adores space like his idol Carl Sagon who is a fmaous astromemer. Alex thought to name his dog Carl Sagon. Alex has a mum that sits on the on the couch and has 'Quiet Days' and goes on 'walks' and his died when Alex was three, a brother who is a sports agent. Alex Petroski wants to launch his Golden IPod into space at .S.H.A.F.T. ( South-West High Altitude Rocket Festival ) Alex made food and cleaned up the house for his mum. When he got to the train station, he had a adult ticket and he was only 11 and you need to be 13 to usethe adult ticket and he needs a adult to get on the train until a boy pretended to be his brother and when he was on the train he stumbled across a karate master called Zed and a man called Steve that suffers arguments with his girlfriend. When he got to .S.H.A.F.T. He saw a lot more people that expecting, and Carl Sagon is very scared of people. Meanwhile, he was so amazed how many people were there. When he went up to launch his rocket meanwhile he witnessed frustrastion and other bad feelings. After the rocket launch he got a email from Ancestry.com and said there was a man as that has the same name and birthday as his dad, and said he lived in LA when he asked Steve My Dad Lives in LA and we need to go there , and steve said your in luck im going to LA today. Awesome when he arrived at the address he came across a relative he never knew he had and Alex suffers from losing a dog and his mum has schizophrenia. I love this book. It's really funny and cool! I love that Ethan's sister is not terrified of literally almost any of the monsters,even GABE, until Gabe's sister comes into place, and she is TERRIFIED! I LOVE the ending. In conclusion, i'll give this book a 5 stars for being funny and for having a really good ending.

I really want to read!

In this story, the animals are not happy because the bear is stealing their trees. This book is interesting. In the book, all the characters live under a tree. It is like a secret underground house. I think you should read this book.

I love fly guy and the frankenfly it is good and i think fly guy books are good to read it is the best book for me it is my favorite book in the library it is funny to read if you like funny books it will be good for you to read.

This story is really good because it would definitely help children who relate to Sunny to not feel ashamed of her family and scared of them while also not being scared of asking for help. I don't want to spoil this but I will say it is very good.

It all starts when six kids have to meet for a weekly chat--by themselves, with no adults to listen in. There, in the room they soon dub the ARTT Room (short for "A Room to Talk"), they discover it's safe to talk about what's bothering them--everything from Esteban's father's deportation and Haley's father's incarceration to Amari's fears of racial profiling and Ashton's adjustment to his changing family fortunes. When the six are together, they can express the feelings and fears they have to hide from the rest of the world. And together, they can grow braver and more ready for the rest of their lives.

I loved this! I love dogs that help someone like how Lila helps Hadley. Amazing story! Great to pass some time.
