Kids Books - Classics

Okay. Let me get this straight. Most people won't believe me, but I have read this whole book, all 1000+ pages. It is so dry. If you dunked it in a bathtub filled with water, it would still be dry. If you dumped it in the Pacific Ocean, it would STILL be dry! It took two months to read (a normal 500 page would take me an estimated three weeks) and the epilogue had like, two parts! It's an achievement to finish reading the whole book, and definitely another to enjoy it (which I did not). If you really feel like reading this, go for it, but personally, I would not recommend it. I could rant on and on about War and Peace and its dryness, but I don't want to have you all staring at your devices for six hours or more just because you are reading this review, so, I'll put it into a "short" summary: It takes place in Russia in the 1800s and Russia is fighting in a war. The women get SUPER emotional about how their husbands are going away to war. A lot of people die. It's not super graphic, but it's not just "He was fighting. He died" either. I really disliked this book. Mic drop.

The Water Babies is a classic book and everyone should read it! If you haven't read it you are absolutely insane!

hi i am a 4th grader this is one of all time favorite book out of all the books that i have on my book shelf.here i will type the story.Once upon a time in Spain.There was a little bull and his name was Ferdinand.All the other little bulls he lived with would run and jump butt heads together,but not Ferdinand. He likes to sit just quietly and smell the flowers. He had a favorite spot out in the pasture under a cork tree.It was his favorite tree and he would sit in its shade all day and smell the flowers. Sometimes his mother,who was a cow, would worry about him . She was afraid he would be lonesome all by himself. Why don't you run and play with the other little bulls and skip and butt your head?" She would say. But Ferdinand would shake his head."I like it better here where I can sit just quietly and smell the flowers." to be coutied i will finish the story later

THE RAT-A-TAT MYSTERY....Roger ,Snubby ,Diana and Barney ...the mystery revolves around the cosy surrounded by snow covered hills.....indeed interesting.... good ..

This book is a very cute read, and it would be useful for teachers to have in their personal libraries or to read aloud. It would be great for teaching diversity, culture, religion, or just for fun! I recommend this book to anyone with children who love to learn!

A great story based on real Greek myths. Ulysses sets to sail in this heartwarming,sometimes sad,and great book. This is the best book of Greek myths. Forget Percy Jackson if you want real greek myths read this. A tale by homer rewritten by this author. Don't let bookstores tell you its out printed. There is a 2012 version you can find on the internet. Same story same words just written later. Never boring,plot is never slow,and the storyline is really good.
