It is a time when werewolves, having once been humans but having gotten bitten by a wolf , are not seen as human beings and are denied certain rights. As a young man trying to escape the burdens of civilization to be free, Huckleberry Finn helps Werewolf Jim escape as well. Along the way, he discovers the humanity of werewolves and the inhumanity of his own species.
