I bet you didn't know that President Washington didn't want the capital named after him? he preferred Federal City. The citys name was quickly switched after Washington died. Or that President Monroe, was broke after his 2 terms and had to move in with his daughter. This book was full of really unbelievable, crazy facts and it was pretty fun to read. Does your parents tell you to read nonfictions or historical books? Well... in my opinion I think this book is historical fiction and realistic fiction. This book is my one of the best book that I ever read! If you are 3,4,5,6, or 7th grade, I am pretty sure that they will like it. It is about a girl who lives with here aunt because her mother left her, and went to California. Jubilee can't talk. If you want to know more details about this book, READ IT!!

Maggie Gallagher is a girl who likes to make things happen, but it isn't always easy when you live in a very small town. I mean, the school she goes to is closing after the year is over! When shes nearly late for the first day of school, she meets this girl, Lena, who ALSO happens to like to make things happen. (Did that make sense?) However, when doing their... pranks, they have to deal with the new principal. GOOD LUCK ON THAT ONE!

When you look at this book, it is pretty thick and you might not like it by only looking at it. One reason is that the book is tooooo thick that you think it is not your level. Second reason is that you don't like how the book looks or it looks just like poem. BUT it is NOT!!!!!!!!!! The character is half Japaneses and half American.
