The New York Times bestselling The School for Good and Evil is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one. Start here to follow Sophie, Agatha, and everyone at school from the beginning!

With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she'll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.

The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed—Sophie's dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.

But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are?

I really want to read this book. I have read the sequel and I loved it. I want to read this book soon, but my library does not have it

This story was pretty much o k. It was a fast and ea sy read but I really didn't like the scenario and the other stuff.

This is an AWESOME book, the characters are awesome. The two main characters are awesome, Agatha and Sophie. There are 2 schools, one for good and one for evil and they are in a fairy tale. SPOILER ALERT (KIND OF) Agatha is evil and Sophie is good, when the school master chooses yo for one of the two schools you get picked up by giant birds and dropped into your school. Sophie and Agatha get dropped into opposite schools (Evil for Sophie and Good for Agatha). They try to switch schools many times but never succeed. Then after a while they get used to their schools and try to fit in. They finally fit in, Agatha gets her prince (Tedros) and Sophie turns Evil. All while the Storian (a pen that writes the fairy tales while they happen) writes their story. READ THIS BOOK!!!!

This was the BEST book ever!!! I totally recommend this book. This book was about Sophie and Agatha, they get taken to the mythical School for Good and Evil. Sophie seems just the right match for the School for Good, and Agatha seems a perfect match for the School for Evil. When they get taken to the School for Good and Evil, and get sorted into the opposite castle they find their true identity.

I like this book is nice but idk how to to open this book

I loved this book its about wo girls one, who was always cared about herself and not others , and lived in a house in the village, and the other caring , and lives at the house in the semetary. I'm reading this. It's pretty cool! 😈 vs 😇

The story of Sophie and Agatha is one of the best books in the fractured-fairytale genre. A must read for anyone who has read Harry Potter or Wicked. Their tale is just as well imagined and worthy of attention.

It is like one of the best books ever!!! It has so much twists and turns, it keeps you on your feet till the very end! It talks about two girls who are best friends, they get chosen to go to the school for good and evil. One looks like a princess, but she ends up going to the school for evil. The other wears all black and is dark and dreary, but she ends up going to the School for good. It teaches you that it is the inside that counts

The first kidnappings happened two hundred years before. Some years it was two boys taken, some years two girls, sometimes one of each. But if at first the choices seemed random, soon the pattern became clear. One was always beautiful and good, the child every parent wanted as their own. The other was homely and odd, an outcast from birth. This year, best friends Sophie and Agatha are about to discover where all the lost children go: the fabled School for Good & Evil, where ordinary boys and girls are trained to be fairy tale heroes and villains. As the most beautiful girl in Gavaldon, Sophie has dreamed of being kidnapped into an enchanted world her whole life. With her pink dresses, glass slippers, and devotion to good deeds, she knows she’ll earn top marks at the School for Good and graduate a storybook princess.
