Amy and Dan head to Russia without their guardian,Nellie, and follow the Grand Dutchess Anastasia. They are getting mysterious notes from someone named NRR who they don't know if they can trust. They start working with the Holts and find information on Alexei and Anastasia who seem to have gotten special healing abilites from Rasputin. This book is really shocking and mysterious, and Amy and Dan are close to finding out the truth about their parents.

This was probably one of the worst 39 clues so far. they went to Russia but it was still really boring. still read this one if your reading the series but just warnng u it's not that good!
