This book is about a Demigod named Percy. His father is Poseidon. A rumor is going around saying Percy Jackson stole Zeus's Lightning Bolt. If Percy doesn't return the Lightning Bolt the gods will get mad and start a riot. With the help of Percy's protector, Grover, a sayter, and a high class warrior named Annabeth Percy travels to different places to get to Zeus. First, Percy was in the library with his substitute teacher the teacher turned into an evil monster trying to get the lightning bolt and destroy him. Grover and Mr.Bruner appear in the library ready to destroy the beast. Suddenly the beast flies out of the window dropping Percy Jackson. Grover and Percy leave as quickly as they can trying not to be destroyed or caught by any monsters. Percy and Grover run into Percy’s house getting his mom. Percy, Grover, and Percy’s mom. Get in Percy’s mom’s car and drives to the camp Percy’s father reccomended him to go to. Percy’s mom drives as fast as she can to the camp, but once they pass the sheep in their pens a huge, demon with horns appear running towards the car. Read more to find out what happens next.
