Naruto is a ninja-in-training with a need for attention, a knack for mischief and, sealed within him, a strange, formidable power. His antics amuse his instructor Kakashi and irritate his teammates, intense Sasuke and witty Sakura, but Naruto is serious about becoming the greatest ninja in the village of Konohagakure! Believe it!

very good book i like all the action in the book

it was awesome

Naruto is a very nice manga series. While it is a very long series, there are plenty of twists and battles, along with loveable characters that make you want to buy the next volume!

OMG THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER!!!! NINJA JUTSU ANIME IT IS EVERYTHING IT NEEDS TO BE AWESOME.

I read a book about this and it was awesome and it makes all of the ninjas cool well most of them.

While this first volume still holds up and is a lot of fun (read in 4th grade, now in 7th grade...still good) please note that after the Chunin exams Naruto has all interesting characters and plotlines sucked out of it and they are replaced with filler and dragged out long annoying battles. Get it from the library so you don't end up spending $9.99/volume then one day getting to a bad volume and realizing you just wasted $10.
