A very funny post-apocalyptic graphic novel, now a New York Times bestseller!

"Terrifyingly fun! Delivers big thrills and even bigger laughs."--Jeff Kinney, author of the #1
New York Times  bestseller  Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The zombies are disappearing. This might seem like a good thing, since zombies eat your brains, but normal human kid Jack Sullivan is suspicious. He keeps hearing an eerie shrieking noise that seems to be almost summoning the zombies—but to where, and for what (probably) foul purpose?

Jack, his three best friends (maybe the only people left on Earth), and their pet monster Rover need to get to the bottom of this. Along the way they encounter a lot more than they bargained for, including a giant Wormungulous, a pizza parlor monster hangout, an ancient evil who destroys worlds, and a stereo system that is totally the bomb. Can Jack figure out why the zombies are vanishing . . . before he and his friends are next?

the fist book is the best i have too say

This book is so exciting in the beginning and so i want to keep on reading it, but i also have so many questions for the author too. I can't believe that there are so many weird creatures on Earth. I won't want to live there. How can the kids defeat all the monster. I think that is unfair for the monsters who always die. At least have one of them capertured. They can't always be alive. Why can't they be dead or something like that. How come they are the only ones who know how to save the world? I mean come on, how can you survive there with a billion monsters trying to eat you.

If you like the zombie apocalypse and adventure you should try reading " The Last Kids On Earth " book ,so far Max Brallier the author of this book has released 3 books from the same series which talk about an orphan kid called called Jack Sulliavan that has been "the worlds punching bag " for a while that was lately adopted by unloving family that used him and when the zombie apocalypse happened they left him all alone so he lived in his scummy not real brother tree house trying to survive the zombies and monsters especially the " Blarg " and has seat a goal for him self to save his crush June Delarosa and slowly he finds other kids and he makes friends . This book was very interesting and has attracted readers in all ages that love adventure even Jeff Kinney the author of the best seller book in New York " Diary of the Wimpy Kid " had a positive comment after reading this book . In my opinion this book was the best book I have ever read and believe me I have read a lot of books and if I would rate this book out of a five it would be 5/5 because it was full of adventure and thrills As Jeff Kinney also stated and it is so funny the best part for me is when he slayed the nasty dirty old monster the "Blarg " with his baseball bat that he added a little adjustments to with his friend and also one of the reasons that made me full in love with this book was how it made my imagination work I kept thinking of if I was put in zombie apocalypse and I started drawing my own tree house and defenses .

if you love books about the apocalypse read this

The lessons in this book changed the character's lives so greatly that they will never be the same again. The lesson that Jack learned that changed his life is to never back down from a challenge. It impacted his life in a good way because now that Jack knows he almost never loses monster battles. Jack learned his lesson when he was battling Thrull Tree Beast and when he fought Thrull, he never thought that he couldn't do it. The lesson that Dirk learns is that to never give up. He learned it when Thrull kidnapped Quint and stole Big Mama (their monster truck), Dirk, Jack, and June were trapped in a cage and Dirk pried the bars open. It changed his life because now whenever his friends are ready to give up, he encourages them to stay strong. Therefore, the main lessons in the book, have changed the lives of the characters so much that they'll soon be invincible. I’d rate this book a “10 out of 10” and rate the illustrations a “9 out of 10”. I would recommend this book because it is intriguing , adventurous, and Jack’s humor makes it a hilarious book for some kids who just need to let their giggles out. One unanswered question I‘d to ask the author is, ” What were Jack’s friends feelings when he fell down Thrull Tree Beast’s throat in Space Marine Armor?"
