Eleven-year-old Jessie Marlowe has grown up with the beautiful Mount St. Helens always in the background. She's hiked its winding trails, dived into its cold lakes, and fished for trout in its streams. Just looking at Mount St. Helens out her window made Jess feel calm, like it was watching over her somehow. Of course, she knew the mountain was a volcano...but not the active kind, not a volcano that could destroy and kill!

Then Mount St. Helens explodes with unimaginable fury. Jess suddenly finds herself in the middle of the deadliest and most destructive volcanic event in U.S. history. Ash and rock are spewing everywhere. Can Jess escape in time?

The newest book in the I Survived series will take readers into one of the most environmentally devastating events in recent U.S. history.

I loved this book!It was so exciting and scary for Jess,Eddie, and Sam.It was about them exploring and there was an earthquake. That ment mt.st. hellenss was awake

Jessie finds herself in the middle of the deadliest volcanic eruption in U.S. history. Trapped on the mountain, she must escape clouds of poisonous gas, and bowling rivers to get back home safely. i didn't really make a connection to this book because I never experienced a volcanic eruption the reason why I only gave this book a 2 star is that it wasn't that exciting to me and it didn't have that good of a plot

So you don't like 99.9% of the books out there because you ''never experienced'' it??

This book is about a girl and 2 boys who get shook up by an earthquake by Mt. St. Helens. Scientists believed that these earthquakes were signs from mother nature that something big was to happen. Well, they were completely right. Mt. St. Helens erupted suddenly; she (the girl) and the two boys were caught in the eruption. Thanks to their quick thinking they survived.

This book was about Mt. St. Helens and how everyone thought it was just a peaceful, beautiful mountain until earthquakes started coming. Scientists believed that these earthquake were signs from Mother Nature telling everyone that Mt. St. Helens was awakening. A girl and her two friends (that are boys) get trapped when the mountain desides to erupt. Thanks to quick thinking they survive this eruption.

The reason why I read this book was because I'm interested in I survived and the words eruption of st. of st. helens, make it an interesting book to read. It tells a story of a girl and two boys who went to st helens and then the mountain erupts it also tells a story of the skeleton woman.

I love this book! I read it over and over again. This is an amazing series and I have read almost all the books. I recommend this book.

it's a story about mighty Mount st. helens and three children that where in the eruption nothing that sad but its one of my favorite books.

I think these books are great because they tech you about the past but make it fun

It is calm in the beginning then Lauren Tarshis decides to get you worried about the characters well beings, and it also gives you a idea about the scenery, the eruption, and the shack of skeleton woman. Or so they thought, it was just a woman, that explained why Jessie's dad's camera was in her bag. I say it is one of the books ever written by Lauren Tarshis.

This was an awesome book just like all the other books. I love these books and I hope she writes more
