I read this entire series and loved it! It is fun and exciting, full of detail and adventure. It is about a girl named Kendra and her brother Seth. They go to their grandparents' house and find out that it is a preserve for magical creatures It is really good!

So, in this book, it is all about Kendra and Seth again. There is an weird plague going around, changing light creatures into dark creatures- and someone has to sacrifice themselves to stop it. It all began when the Phoenix was realized to be evil. That was when he started making a LOT of trouble... The thing is, this was an amazing book, with so many plots and surprises. This was a book that I just could not forget. I read this like, at the beginning of this year, but I remember it so clearly.

I think this book is marvelous. One good part of the book is when Kendra throws the object of light to Lena and she connects the object to the nail and Kurisock and Ephira die.It also has some sad parts which I think is fantastic especially when the book's genre is adventure.
