Boys don’t keep diaries—or do they?

The launch of an exciting and innovatively illustrated new series narrated by an unforgettable kid every family can relate to

It’s a new school year, and Greg Heffley finds himself thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. The hazards of growing up before you’re ready are uniquely revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary.

In book one of this debut series, Greg is happy to have Rowley, his sidekick, along for the ride. But when Rowley’s star starts to rise, Greg tries to use his best friend’s newfound popularity to his own advantage, kicking off a chain of events that will test their friendship in hilarious fashion.

Author/illustrator Jeff Kinney recalls the growing pains of school life and introduces a new kind of hero who epitomizes the challenges of being a kid. As Greg says in his diary, “Just don’t expect me to be all ‘Dear Diary’ this and ‘Dear Diary’ that.” Luckily for us, what Greg Heffley says he won’t do and what he actually does are two very different things.

Since its launch in May 2004 on Funbrain.com, the Web version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been viewed by 20 million unique online readers. This year, it is averaging 70,000 readers a day.

This book is the reason why I am a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Fan!

Like the movie from 2010, this book is about a middle school student who is very unpopular. He must deal with school, homework, and home life in order to be successful.

Greg Heffley, a middle-schooler who is always struggle with family, friends, and school. He has two brothers, an older brother, Rodrick who is never miss a opportunity to embarrass Greg, and has a band, Loded Dipers. (Loded Dipers are really spell by Loaded Diapers)! And his younger brother, Manny, who is kinda spoiled 3 years old toddler who never gets in trouble by what Manny really did. Greg`s best but good friend, Rowley Jefferson; who always willing to do what Greg says, even in the dangerous situation, who always goes on the vacations which annoys Greg the most. But the main and important lesson in this book; like other by the way who they really are. I would def recommend this book. - Happy Reading!

The book is funny. The hole series is funny

This book is hilarious! It made me laugh at loud, whenever Manny was being finicky, or Greg was just being plain honest!

I love this book. It's funny and can make the time seem to fly by.

This book is awesome! The whole series is about the misadventures of the average middle schooler, Greg Heffley. Between Jeff Kinney's wonderful writing skills, simple but interesting art, and relatable situations, this book is amazing! I highly recommend it.

It is way better that that
