125 Animals that Changed the World will undoubtedly complete my world! I know that animals are totally awesome and a book about some of the most amazing animals and how the world was changed by them would be an incredible read. I will share my book with friends and we can all read and learn together. This will be a great sleepover book for Grandmom's house too! I enjoy reading everything National Geographic!Almost 5 years agounicornbrain added a new comment in

This is a fun easy reader on my STEM list this summer. There are two additional books by this author, Andrea Beaty in the set I received. Iggy Peck, Architect and Rosie Revere, Engineer, I will read and review later. The young girl in this book has soooo many questions, just like me. I laughed because my parents always stopped what they were doing to answer my questions and that encouraged me to ask more, now I am a junior scientist with even more questions that I am answering on my own. Great book for young kids, but older kids can enjoy.Almost 5 years agounicornbrain added a book review.

Another fun read with Harold and his purple crayon. His adventures can entertain kids of all ages! I enjoyed reading it to my cousins and I enjoyed reading it myself! The author has a way to help a kid of any age relive their childhood with his Harold stories.Almost 5 years agounicornbrain added a book review.
Okay, this isn't a chapter book, but it was definitely cool for my mom to allow this book to be part of my history homeschooling this summer. Waldo and his friends are walking through history. Some of the drawings are pretty graphic, so parents beware for smaller kids. You will see people are being burned at the stake, eaten by lions, etc, The scenes are from the Stone Age The Stone Age through the future. Some of my favorites were: The Riddle of the Pyramids (2590 BC), Fun and Games in Ancient Rome (58 AD), On Tour with the Vikings (985 AD) and the The End of the Crusades (1188 AD).Almost 5 years agounicornbrain added a book review.
This is great read for younger readers. After I read to myself, I now read to my younger cousins. Piggie and Elephant have a great time trying to surprise the other! It made my cousin laugh at each page turned. "Read it again!" So I did! IAlmost 5 years ago
