Zrel3njn7pbduqpq935lcbmzb83Compared to "The Amazing Spider-Man" this film felt like a let down. I personally loved the first installment, and it is still my favorite Spider-Man movie to date. So of course, I was very excited to see this movie. However, quite honestly, I came out of this movie back in 2014 a bit disappointed. The first movie balanced all it's characters really well, and I was interested in pretty much everything going on. With this one, I honestly felt that they were too worried about setting up a bigger universe that they forgot to make a really good movie. Now, don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this movie, and I do own it, but compared to the first one, it just felt like it took a step down in quality. Also, I cannot stand it when movies set up for a sequel and leave you on a HUGE cliffhanger, and then for whatever reason another movie isn't made. It drives me crazy. That's exactly what happened here. While the Amazing Spider-Man 2 did okay in the Box Office world wide, Sony decided, for various different reasons, to discontinue the series and add a different version to Spider-Man to the MCU. While I am perfectly fine with Tom Holland's new Spider- Man, I would've liked to see where this universe could go. And I did not think it was fare to end this series with this movie. Overall, I didn't hate this movie. I very much enjoyed the fight sequences, especially the one with Electro in Times Square. But honestly, the movie was lacking something that the first one did so well. So in the long run, I did not like this one as well as the first one.

9he9xinmefjnczndlkwd7opfaox"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was an alright film. I did not enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the Harry Potter films, but it did a good job setting up the world that Mr. Potter eventually finds himself in. This is the story of Newt Scamander, who owns a very strange case, full of magical and mystical monsters. This movie is well acted, and the music is fantastic. However, for me where this movie lost itself was it's pacing. I felt that certain parts lagged on more than others. I wasn't quite sure of what was going on until half way through the movie. However, that's where it changes. The film definitely picks itself up towards the middle, and doesn't let go till the end. You finally start to understand the film's premise, and why it is taking place. Overall, fantastic Beasts is a pretty fun ride, but it does take a while for it to get there. So if you haven't already, I suggest that you check it out.

spider2001's movie review was featured in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Y4mbh0ejblmuozv9axm4qjlmhzz"I AM GROOT!!" Vol. 2 is incredible. I loved every single minute of it. While I'm not sure that it is quite as good as the first, it comes pretty darn close. The movie brings back all of the characters you loved from the first film, and introduces you to some new characters as well. I thought this movie was very funny, I was laughing at nearly every scene. However, behind all the humor, and amazing visuals is a truly great story about family. The theme of this movie is very powerful. It continues the character development of some of the characters that weren't as focused on in the first film, such as Yondu and Nebula. Now, I will say this, we all know that Yondu was a pretty big jerk in the first film. However, he turns out to be one of my favorite characters of the second one. They continue to build on his story, and we understand why he acts the way he does. Now, I am going to mention the character that most people are so excited to see return. BABY GROOT! Baby Groot is just as awesome as he was in all the trailers. I know some people were worried that they would overuse Baby Groot. However I enjoyed every scene that he was in. I will also mention that there is a hilarious end credits scene involving a teenage groot. Okay, I have to get into spoilers, I have too. So, *SPOILER WARNING* There, you have been warned. Now I know that some people are complaining that the villains of this movie, the Soverigns, boring and they don't mean anything to the story. However, they really aren't the villains. The true antagonist of this film is *SPOILER WARNING!* Ego, Peter's father. Overall, I truly did enjoy this installment almost as much as the first. Go see it! It's incredible!

9gm3ll8jmttmc3w4bmnmcurldl8Guardians of the Galaxy is quite possibly one of the best movies of 2014. When I went into this film back in 2014, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, I walked out of the theater very pleased. This movie has everything. Heart, comedy, action, adventure, etc. The special effects are spectacular, the film soundtrack is great, and the acting is amazing! The characters here are so well fleshed out. You find yourself caring about everyone. Marvel did a pretty risky thing with the first Guardians film. They took a property that not a whole lot of people knew about, and made a movie about it. When I heard that the film was going to have Rocket Raccoon and Groot in it, I was not sure what to think. However, they ended up being my favorite characters. Also, this movie is incredibly funny. I found myself laughing at almost every scene. At the time this movie came out, all the MCU movies had more of a serious tone to them. This movie, while being very emotional at times, had a lot of humor. It felt like a completely different movie from the others. However, now we have a lot of Marvel movies with more comedy in them, such as Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange. I for one, cannot wait to see the upcoming Guardians movie!
