On his first day as a member of the Platypus Police Squad, enthusiastic rookie detective Rick Zengo is assigned to be the partner of experienced detective and family "man" Corey O'Malley. When the detectives are called to investigate a crime on the docks, they stumble onto a case that involves a missing schoolteacher and illegal fish. Zengo believes that all the evidence leads to Frank Pandini Junior, the giant panda big-wig who seems to control every business in town, but Zengo's overzealousness makes him behave rashly, and he gets himself and his partner into trouble with the police chief. By the end of the story, Zengo has learned to approach police work more methodically and carefully, while still fighting the good fight.

This book I am reading this year for the Bluebonnet Master List. This would probably one of my favorite books on the list. Even though, I haven't done much research, from what I am judging it's about a Platypus Police Squad who are very humorous, and go around doing stupid things. I have many questions about the book like "Is it funny""Is it mysterious"and"Is it interesting" are all things I would like to find out when I read the book Platypus Police Squad: The Frog Who Croaked.
A great mystery with PLATYPUSES as the sleuths! A poor teacher goes missing as welll as a duffel bag. The two dectectives have to push aside their feelings when they find more and more clues pointing at the famous and well-respected buisness man, Frank Pandini Jr., Kallamazoo’s first son.

I have heard this book is very funny and I would love to read it. I know its about 2 platypuses that save the day.
This is a great book! And i love the authors other books witch are the lunch lady books! You should read it!
