Sleeping Beauty gets a feisty, furry twist in this hilarious new comic series from the creator of Dragonbreath

Harriet Hamsterbone is not your typical princess. She may be quite stunning in the rodent realm (you'll have to trust her on this one), but she is not so great at trailing around the palace looking ethereal or sighing a lot. She finds the royal life rather . . . dull. One day, though, Harriet's parents tell her of the curse that a rat placed on her at birth, dooming her to prick her finger on a hamster wheel when she's twelve and fall into a deep sleep. For Harriet, this is most wonderful news: It means she's invincible until she's twelve! After all, no good curse goes to waste. And so begins a grand life of adventure with her trusty riding quail, Mumfrey...until her twelfth birthday arrives and the curse manifests in a most unexpected way.

Perfect for fans of Babymouse and Chris Colfer's Land of Stories, this laugh-out-loud new comic hybrid series will turn everything you thought you knew about princesses on its head.

this is an amazing book you are an amazing author i love everone of your books

I really like what they did with hamsters as characters because it is a more rare animal to find as a main character. Hamsters are cute, so it made the story a little bit more cute. The main idea of the story is fun because they basically took a sleeping beauty story and put it into the animal world. I also like how the story is a little goofy.

I love the cover! It was so colorful. The hamster princess was awesome. She protects her kingdom with her family.

This book is quite more unique than your average fairy tale. This story is kinda like Sleeping Beauty. Harriet got cursed on the day that her christening occurred. The curse was that she was going to fall into a deep sleep when she turns 12. You would probably spend 11 years worrying, right? Harriet didn't. She became invincible and kept doing dangerous things. Let's move forward abit. Soon enough, her 12th birthday came up. Harriet meets Ratshade (the person who put the curse on her). Instead of begging for her life, she thanks him. As she heads back to the castle, she finds that everyone is in a deep sleep. She must find a prince! She goes to different kingdoms and all the princes are very rude. Will she find a prince to kiss everyone or will everyone be in a deep sleep forever. Read this book to find out. I would rate this book a 2 out of 5 stars for me because I'm older and it seems a little childish ( that's my opinion, you may think that this book is awesome) and I'm not into these kinds of books, but my little sister is, so for her it was 5 stars out of 5. Thanks for providing me this book. ~ Catface173

similar to sleeping Beauty but it is a good book

I got addicted to this book. The gist is that a princess becomes a super hero

I read this whole book on the day I got it! It was that good! The main thing to get into your head is that Harriet is like a Sleeping Beauty remix! When Harriet figures out that she will fall into a deep sleep when she is 12, so she has to live up till she is 12! She misuses the purpose of her invincibility to be the wildest princess ever! the when she starts to get to the reality of the spell and has the witch prick her finger instead! This plan goes crazy and the whole castle then everybody at the castle falls asleep, except for a prince, Harriet, and Harriet's trusty quail! That means that the prince has to kiss everybody! Harriet is a everywhere character! You can almost never predict her next move! I totally recomend this book to every reader! I usually don't like this genre, and I am way past this reading level but this book was truly the best! Great job

I decided to read it because it sounded really funny and it was funny. Me and my friend are reading it and she is way ahead of me but you will love It even though part of it is sad but I still know you'll love it.
