Telling the Truth Could Get Them Killed.
Remaining Silent Could Be Worse.

When Cooper, Hiro, and Gordy witness a robbery that leaves a man in a coma, they find themselves tangled in a web of mystery and deceit that threatens their lives. After being seen by the criminals—who may also be cops—Cooper makes everyone promise never to reveal what they have seen. Telling the truth could kill them. But remaining silent means an innocent man takes the fall, and a friend never receives justice.

Is there ever a time to lie? And what happens when the truth is dangerous?

The three friends, trapped in a code of silence, must face the consequences of choosing right or wrong when both options have their price.

I keep trying to write a review and it won't let me! Telling the Truth Could Get Them Killed. Remaining Silent Could Be Worse. My library just got this book and I can hardly wait to check it out and read it. My friend read it and said she loved it.

This was a really fun read and was a pretty easy book. It was totally awesome. I liked this book because it has mystery, action, and adventure.

This is a GREAT book!!! Cooper (Coop), Hiroko (Hiro), and Gordon (Gordy) are all 8th graders at Plum Grove Junior High School. They are at Frank n' Stein's, their favorite restaurant, when they witness a robbery, and a murder (they thought it was murder). Before Cooper, Hiro, and Gordy got away the robbers told Coop that they will find him because Cooper took their hard drive. The police only thought there was one witness, The kids didn't go to the police because they thought the Chief Detective was one of the robbers. They spend a week trying not to get caught by Detective Hammer, they lie to everyone, saying they don't know anything. And finally the lies weigh them down too much and they go to the police… READ IT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!

This book is very fun. Thirteen year old Cooper MacKinnon and his two friends witness a violent burglary. Fearing their lives will be at risk if they talk, they form a pact, a code of silence to keep everything they’ve seen quiet. They find that living a lie doesn’t come without a price tag.
