Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

You may have thought that two, diligent star-crossed lovers that successfully came back from the dreadful torture of going to the Hunger Games would never have to go through anything else as harsh as the Games... Too bad that isn't true - Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, victors of the 74th Hunger Games, are going back to the arena. To make matters worse, they are going to face something worse than their past experience as their fate lies in the Quarter Quell, an extreme version of the Games that occurs every twenty-five years. Well, it couldn't be that bad because they are experienced victors, right? No. This Quarter Quell is going to be the worst of the worst as preceding victors from each district will reunite with their fellow Hunger Games. But, there is not only an upcoming Quarter Quell, there is a growing uprising. A growing rebellion. A growing hatred of the people in the districts towards the Capitol. This happened only because of two things: The Girl On Fire and Nightlock. Another battle that Katniss has to fight is one with her mind, too. Her ultimate goal is to make sure Peeta is the one that will win the Quarter Quell. But, she just isn't sure how she is supposed to do it.

This is a Grand Book. But, sad. Who did the Quiz? I Got 7/7.

This book is full of suspense. I loved this book so much I can't wait to watch the movie.

Some in the Capitol love her. Some hate her. Katniss Everdeen, against odds, has won the 74th Hunger Games is heading in for more. She has been reaped into the 3rd annual Quarter Quell, that takes place on a beach/jungle. Katniss and her fellow victor/lover/ally Peeta Mellark team up with Mags and Finnick to eventually conquer the arena. Come to the middle of the book, Johanna Mason, Beetee and Wiress team up with the fearsome 3-some. Later in the story, Katniss breaks out of the arena and is rescued/taken to District 13. This book is AMAZING!!!

I really enjoyed this booked and it had me on the edge of my seat

It is time for Katniss and Peeta's Victory Tour, and Katniss is dreading it, and the prospect of mentoring another doomed child in this year's Hunger Games, which is a Quarter Quell. Something unprecedented happens every 25 years in the Hunger Games, so no one has any idea what to expect. The change is revealed and it will change Katniss's life forever - again. The stakes are high in this book. Also, there's more romance than in the last.
