Did you know that orange cats are almost always boys? It's true. And cats that are three colors-white, black, and brown-are usually always girls? It's science.
Eight-year-old Emma McGraw loves science. She also loves being an only child and living with her mother in their cozy little condo. So when four-year-old Anthony moves in for a while (into her room!), Emma isn't too happy. He may be cute, but he can't keep his hands off her stuff! And Anthony isn't only a problem at home. Now that Emma is in a new school, she'd like to make some friends, yet how can she invite anyone over when annoying Anthony is there? But Emma's in for a surprise. As the days pass, she begins to realize that having a "little brother" around is a lot more fun than she ever thought it could be.
Filled with over fifty adorable illustrations, Only Emma is sure to wriggle its way into readers' hearts.

The book that I am doing is called Only Emma by Sally Warner. The Story takes place at Emma's house. The plot of the story is about Emma. She has a four year old boy that moved into her house Till his parents came back. It Connected to me because Emma Doesn't like having People live with her I don't either. Emma's mom thinks it is good to have someone living with you. my mom does too. But me and Emma don't think so Because we think they are annoying. I like it because it stands out to me more than any other books that I’ve read. It stands out to me because I can relate to the book. It taught me to be grateful for what I have before it's gone. At the end of the book Emma I realized to be grateful because when the boy left Emma missed him. Then Emma thought twice of how she should have treated him. The meaning is don't take stuff for granted and Be grateful. The boy tried to play with Emma but Emma did not want to play. Emma Changed when Emma started liking him. They play together. The four year old boy always tried to annoy Emma and it worked. For example he would take puzzle pieces and hide them. He would follow Emma everywhere. Then couple weeks later he started being nice to Emma because Emma started to ignore him because he Realized the Emma was going to keep ignoring him. It took a couple weeks for Emma to start being nice.I think that they need to get used to each other. Then they started to be friends Just like my friends. At First me and my friend did not like each other but now we are bffs and her name is Brooklynn. That is the book I picked Only Emma.
