Hilariously funny, but not all it's cracked up to be. When a developer and his family move onto newly cleared land, the animals get mad. They seem to know that he's planning to build even more homes and cut down even more trees. So they decide to stand their ground. The animals plan to force the man out of his home through various practical jokes. These jokes are very funny, but drastically cliche. This movie would be great, but it needs more oomph.

Hairspray is my favorite movie of all time!!!!!!!!! It is hilarious, and has the best songs ever. In Hairspray, which takes place in the 1960s, a plump girl named Tracy wants to get on a dance show. The only problem is, the show's director, a retired pageant lady, only takes pretty, supermodel-thin kids. Also, Tracy's mom disapproves of anything modern and new. One day, Tracy sneaks out and auditions for it. And she gets on! But the director wants her off, stat. She also wants to get rid of all the "negro dancers." Can Tracy and her friends convince people that it's what's on the inside that counts? Watch Hairspray to find out.

After I finished That Summer, I said, "Did I miss something here?" This book would be pretty good, but it doesn't seem to have much of a plot. I mean, the characters were great, but there was no problem! The days sort of just counted down until Haven's (the main character) sister got married. I just found the book very uninteresting because there was no conflict or other reason to keep reading. At one point, when Haven reconnected with her sister's old boyfriend, I thought, 'we might have something her.' But no. The writing was great, though, and I look forward to reading other books by Sarah Dessen (and hope they are better).

If you read The Hunger Games, you'll know what I mean when I say that you need to read this book. Even once you read this review and find out that I think it's terrible, you'll still read it. Why? Because Catching Fire leaves too much of a cliffhanger to just stop reading the series. But be prepared for lots of fighting, blood, and death when you do read it. If Mockingjay were made into the movie, it would have to be changed a whole lot before it could be rated less than R. I didn't like how the book ended, either, although I won't say why because that would spoil it. Let's just say what happened made Katniss very sad. Also, I thought there was so much fighting that the book wasn't even interesting anymore. Certainly not boring, though.

This is another terrific novel! Suspenseful, dark, and wonderfully horrifying, The Hunger Games tells the story of Katniss, a poor, teenage girl supporting her family. But when she is called to fight in a government-run games called The Hunger Games, which should be called The Death Games, Katniss is venturing into unknown territory. She doesn't know how to kill a person! And her small, skinny body will certainly make her easy bait. But with the help of her friends and her lengthy hunting experience, Katniss may just have a shot. Warning: once you pick up The Hunger Games, you won't be able to put it down.

That's what I thought, too! Ky sounds so weird and ugly, but Xander sounds funny and cute. Why couldn't Cassia just pick Xander?
