This is a great story about a boy named Jax whose parents died. He now has to live with an 18 year old guardian named Riley who seems irresponsible to Jax. He falls asleep one Wednesday night and the next day, he wakes up and no one else is awake. He thinks that something is wrong until the next day at school, he realizes that it was Thursday, but how could there have been an extra day? The next day before Thursday but after Wednesday, he accidentally crashes into Riley! He then realizes that he is not the only one experiencing this extra day. Riley tells Jax that they are trying to protect a girl who is a descendent of the magician Merlin who created the 8th day. The girl only appears in the neighbor's house on the extra eighth day. There are people who want to get rid of the eighth day but need the girl, whose name Jax finds out later from herself is Evangeline, to help them get rid of the day. Jax, Riley, and his new friend will need to protect anyone from getting Evangeline and using her to get rid of the eighth day. Will they be able to do it? "Monster is a relative term. To a canary, a cat is a monster. We're just used to being the cat." (Henry Wu) Jurassic World is a sci-fi, adventure based dinosaur movie with a bit of romance thrown in. One of my personal favorite movies of all time, the plot bases on a theme park with an exhibition gone waay wrong. Said exhibition is out to kill. and the main characters must do what they can to stop it. It has amazing acting, animation, and a good plot, although it has plenty of plotholes and the characters are a bit bland at times. Nevertheless, the movie is always a blast to watch (especially with friends!) and deserved all the credit it gets. After all, life finds a way.

(Judy Hopps) Zootopia is a fun, amazingly animated kid's movie that centers on Judy Hopps, Zootopia's first rabbit cop, working with outlaw Nick Wilde to crack an insanely hard case to prove herself to the others, with a time limit of just three days. The movie is hilarious, many of the people in my theater laughed at the same moments, emotional in a few parts, (I, myself, broke down at one point) and an amazing movie when it comes to graphics. It has a plot twist no one saw coming, and underlying messages of equality for the adults. It was a great, great movie, and I will definitely buy it the minute it comes out.

"I'm choosing me." (America Singer) The Selection is your typically dystopian book in which there's 90% less action and 100% more romance. A strong, independent woman must decide between her two loves of her life, and can't seem to make up her mind as she meets with them both. Sound familiar? America herself isn't a very relatable character; while she has many flaws, which is good, she's /insanely/ stubborn and keeps making the same mistakes. She hates the prince, loves him, and hates him again over the spawn of around a few months. The book itself was written very well, in a way I couldn't put it down. It wasn't as good as others make it out to be, however.
